I posted this yesterday, and some of you asked if you could donate via Amazon.
I had messaged the Chewelah American Legion Post for clarification and the packages will go to their PO BOX. Not at their place.
ADDRESS:
American Legion Post 54
202 East Main Ave # 84
Chewelah, Washington, 99109
If you wish to contact them, their phone number is (509) 935-8464. Open Monday - Saturday, 4:00 - 7:00 PM.
They are also accepting donations for those displaced by the wildfires.
Sheriffs like me swore an oath to you! Not to Olympia insiders.
But SB 5974 is now law: unelected bureaucrats get to fire any sheriff they don’t like using vague criteria that gags First Amendment speech.
Your vote? Cancelled. This power grab just cancelled your democracy!
Share this threat with your neighbors and family right now and get ready to stand with us on April 30 before they erase your vote and your safety.

Washington State
STATEWIDE DROUGHT EMERGENCY
April 8, 2026
WA State Dept. of Ecology Director Casey Sixkiller Declares a Statewide Drought Emergency
The drought emergency comes despite a wet winter that delivered 104% of normal precipitation from October to February. Too much of that precipitation fell as rain instead of snow, leaving the state with about half of its usual snowpack. Looking ahead, long-term weather forecast predicts above-normal temperatures and below-normal precipitation through June.
Declaring a drought emergency allows the Dept. of Ecology to distribute drought emergency response grants and to expediate processing of emergency water right permits and transfer applications.

RE: Convention of Counties; Book - COUNTIES FIRST
Date
Dear BOCC,
I am writing to introduce you to the Convention of Counties (COC) and to explain the reason why I believe a reapportionment of state senators by county, instead of by district, is necessary.
The people of Washington State have been unequally represented because of state senatorial district apportionment.
At present, we have 49 state senators and 39 counties.
COUNTIES FIRST
In the state senate in Washington State, THREE COUNTIES CONTROL the state senate.
King - 17 state senators
Snohomish - 7 state senators
Pierce - 5 state senators
Out of 49 state senators by district for 39 counties in Washington State, 29 state senators represent King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties.
Therefore, the other 36 "minority" counties have 20 state senators in Washington State.
Some legislative districts have upwards of 6 to 7 counties combined, whereby ONE state senator represents MULTIPLE legislative districts.
The current apportionment allows for 3 counties (King, Pierce, and Snohomish) to influence 55% of the state senate seats as the majority, drowning out representation of the other 36 "minority" counties.
I am asking that the BOCC join the Convention of Counties and file a Resolution with a formal, written statement that the county BOCC will be signing onto the Convention of Counties to reapportion the state senate seats by county for fair and equal representation.
Matt Hawkins, who ran as the candidate for state auditor in the 2024 election, is the creator of the Convention of Counties.

The book "COUNTIES FIRST" explains the process and pathway to restore EQUAL representation in the state senate to each county in every state, including Washington State, by reapportionment of state senate seats by COUNTY (not by district).

Imagine waking up to this: the sheriff you voted for to keep your family safe can now be yanked by unelected bureaucrats using vague rules they control.
SB 5974 is law. One “wrong” word or tough decision and they’re gone; your vote overridden.
Once the last elected protector is removed, who stops the sanctuary-style chaos from rolling into your town? Your home. Your kids. Your community.
Share this threat with your neighbors and family right now and get ready to stand with us on April 30 before they erase your vote and your safety.

Designed play. In order to create a funding crisis in the mind of the public, decision makers always cut popular & visible programs, rather than prioritize funding towards those efforts. Creates the impression with voters that the government NEEDS more of your money & the next tax increase is easier to get.
Olympia Democrats just cut the budget to maintain trails and state parks, as the Discover Pass 50% price increase goes into in full effect.
Now to make matters worse, DNR Commissioner Dave Upthegrove is refusing to harvest timber on state lands, which is designed to both provide additional funding and reduce wildfire risk.
The result? Trails such as Poo Poo Point (Issaquah) are on the chopping block to close.

From one of @jcurelyshow listeners - the email they received from Jamie Pedersen about the Income tax….
Jamie Pedersen blocked your vote, admitted it, and said Brian Heywood will fix it.
I didn't run for office. He did. But sure — I'll clean up the mess."
SB 5974 didn’t create new “standards” for sheriffs; it just gave the Governor-appointed Criminal Justice Training Commission the power to yank a sheriff’s certification (and immediately put them out of office) for statements that are normally protected by the First Amendment.
Or any conduct that this bunch of bureaucrats says, “jeopardizes public trust” or “fails ethical/professional standards.”
Who decides what crosses the line? Not voters. Not a judge. Appointed bureaucrats. It's censorship. And this is how you stifle protest and overturn democracy.

Are you confused why Lets Go Washington is running a Referendum against the income tax, even though Democrats blocked one with an Emergency Clause?
This thread is for you👇🧵
BREAKING: The City of Boise, Idaho, has decided to wrap poles with the Pride colors after they were forced to remove Pride flags under state law.
These woke officials are attempting to circumvent the law.
What will happen if Democrats try to remove @saveoursheriff from office? He tells me: "I'm going to encourage peaceful protest. Like the ICE protests. Like Antifa. Peaceful protest." WATCH: https://t.co/CHXc4D6Qrg
One week after Ferguson signed SB 5974, the message is clear: your vote for sheriff can now be overturned by Olympia insiders.
This power grab weakens local control and trust in law enforcement.
Lawsuits have started. Public push back is growing.
We’re not backing down. Washington voters deserve better. #RepealSB5974
