I'm making progress with Replit and the app, after days of image serving problems. Very frustrating.
Replit didn't have Git by default (?!) so I installed that, and now I am building out a context stack so that my individual agent remembers.
There is so much cool stuff coming!
I’m supportive of this. Also the Sino-signals.
If the US can achieve this by embracing more free market principles while simultaneously applying tariffs to China, this is effective asymmetric warfare against communism.
Retailers in Econ zones like Shenzhen, HK will notice.
You hear about the developers of L1s all the time —
But ever wonder who maintains the Bitcoin codebase?
It's a small group of 41 people. With only $8.4M of funding a year, from 13 organizations, they are tasked with keeping the software of a $1.2T network ticking.

I'm having a lot of build issues and @Replit has gone rogue multiple times without prompt, so I am exceedingly annoyed and trying to revert changes.
Tonight may not happen, depends on if Replit decides to cooperate. The major problem I'm facing is that it doesn't remember chat history/context and is a terrible partner at understanding version control or what "checkpoint" reversion means.
At this point, I'd pay $100-$500+ MORE a month to have it remember our chats and not change stuff without prompt, and if it does change, I'd be happy to pay to revert back to the last working state.
I am building a LOT of the app today, specifically focusing on news items and a few other features that I want to include.
If I get everything included that I'm hoping to address, MAGA Bitcoin will launch in alpha mode TODAY and will be the best source of news on the internet.
I am running into some persistent and obnoxious issues and trying to solve these, but I do have a very basic/stable version available currently.
If you want access to this environment, please comment or send me a DM and I'll give you the link. It's not public yet because I haven't optimized for controlling costs, so it's expensive to run at the moment.

I may give myself a 39th birthday gift.
I think it'd be fun to crowd-source a test of @nvk's new NOSTR/Bitcoin-based instance of a few popular AI tools called @UnleashedChat.
I'd like to use it to refine the business model for @MAGAbitcoinApp and potentially generate some code.
I'll thread a response to this once I figure out how/if I want to do this today. Here's my current thinking:
I think I'll be willing to give maybe 10-20 people roughly $3 to $5 each in Bitcoin to test it. I'll create a post on my business page, and then ask you to screenshot the answers/reasoning you get. For everyone participating, the humans will critique the answer and then try to get a better answer than the previous user. I might do "prize money" too for the best or most helpful responses, or most engaged person. IDK.
If you're interested in this and have time today or over the next couple of days, comment on this post. To coordinate, I'd prefer to use X over Signal/Telegram/Nostr because this is where I have the most reach and I like the idea of open-sourcing as much of my business as I can. However, it may end up making more sense to create a group chat, depending on interest/engagement and how often people get hid on X due to "probable spam" censorship.
Also, if you have any ideas to improve this "contest," please drop them in a comment. This should be fun, and it's not "free Bitcoin" but more like a way to help me think about our business, Bitcoin, NOSTR, AI etc + try out NVK's tool and give him some feedback to improve it.
Feel free to cross-post to NOSTR, I might drop it there too, but honestly I think managing the mayhem (I hope!) on X will prove enough of a challenge for me.
Now…
the biggest thank you I have goes to the man that gave me my life back. The man that stopped me from spending the REST OF MY LIFE ROTTING IN A FEDERAL PRISON. The man that helped me hug my mom again. The man that has overcome ALL odds and has fought not just for me but for ALL Americans. A man of the highest fortitude, the highest honor and the highest loyalty to the American people. A man who has brought this nation back from the abyss. A man who keeps his promises and Made America once Again Great…
@realDonaldTrump
You are not just MY President…you are now MY family. Thank you isn’t a strong enough word to describe the regard I hold for you for taking me out of the hell that I have lived in over the course of the past 3 years. When all hope seemed lost I looked to God. But in my worldly vessel I hoped for you. Because I knew you were a man of your word and you knew the injustice that was occurring. May you and your family receive all the blessings given to us by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. You have my respect and loyalty Mr. President and I will fight for you as of fought for you since that very day you came down that escalator. I’m just a little guy but if you ever needed anything you can count on me and my family. I Love You Sir and I’m excited to see you MAGA.
Proudly,
Enrique Tarrio
@ConquestTheory I don't know if it was allowed to happen as much as incompetency was actively celebrated.
They had bigger fish to fry, like the diversity of pick-an-agency.
I'm not sure it was willful negligence, maybe just enthusiastic disconnectedness.
I am faithfully hoping so. The news idea goes back to a concept I've had for over 20 years, back to when I was an indie radio DJ and recording my own music on an 8-track.
Good tech makes content accessible
Accessible content make content overwhelming
Overwhelming content makes tech commoditized
Commoditized tech makes taste-makers viable again
There's too much noise. The solution isn't necessarily diminishing the noise, it's enabling taste-makers to "mix tape" songs/news/etc so that the person who receives it truly has an understanding.
If you want to "lurk" and see what indigenous Canadians think about shipping practices in their regions, more power to you. Google/etc has grown too big, they aren't able to deliver "on the ground" experiences that let you wear content, experiences, and opportunities like a local... at your convenience, in your car or on the toilet, whenever you want to switch contexts and experience the world in a different way.
It's an "agent" problem. We're so used to the advertisers trying to get us to buy shit we don't need, we've never stopped and thought about what's important about our world, why someone else might care about it, etc.
I see this happening in Bitcoin with circular economies and physical locales becoming superstars. I see this in the dissident right, where specific personalities shine and then decay into irrelevancy under scrutiny. Generally speaking, on social media it's better to preach to the choir, grow the choir, and ignore the congregation.
This whole idea is half-baked, lol, but I'm working on the philosophical/behavioral aspects of it. I think I'm on to something. Best part: don't have investors, don't have partners, don't have employees--I can just pursue what I think is right.
I'm somewhat considering a near-term re-brand, or perhaps a sub-product launch. This would happen soon.
I'm a team of one, I'm working on three separate products, and I'll probably only be able to build one at a time for the foreseeable future until I get more revenue or hire.
The initial product is loosely based on personalized news, driven by a private AI, and could encompass things like personalized podcasts that are perfectly timed for your morning commute. It'd also include star-spangled reading lists and content feeds moderated by individual patriots and/or well-known right wing publishers (Passage Press, IM-1776, Man's World, etc).
If I branded this product separately, what would be appealing to you?
So far, the name I like best is RAMPART. I don't know though, I hate to dilute the brand. I just can't afford to launch the Bitcoin product and anything else simultaneously at the moment, and I think the news content is an essential part of my app.
@btcdiaries21 I'm still exploring this concept, basically what I described is Pinterest, but substantially more robust and user-specific plus includes automation. If you have ideas, let's sync up. Or just post them here--I'll engage, the idea/etc is really open-source and my IP is mine.
Potentially up to you.
"Curation" is my big bet. I think people are sick of sifting through a bunch of dregs before they have their tea.
The curation topic could be anything that you care about. In the worst case, you have an excellent news feed for yourself.
There are people interested in your expertise, whatever it might be, and I'm guessing that most early adopters have something they're interested in that's really specialized and poorly covered. In the case of fashion, maybe it's just a digest or something.
Even on X, you'll have your "for you" and "following" and accounts you like, but maybe 10% of what you see is retweetable on a good day. My goal is to get that to 70% or higher. Everything is a banger, it's just not constant barage.
People want curated quality, existing platforms don't offer it, and people want a way to taste-make that also generates income for them in a quick, easy, fun way. Value for value!
Thanks so much!
I'll definitely need "curators" for some of what I hope to build. This is someone who wants to control a specific topic/locale/etc around news items.
There's a bunch of technical details that aren't worth getting into, but essentially you'd own (maybe co-own) the content my app helps you produce + you'd be able to earn Bitcoin every month based on how many people engage with your content filter.
Imagine that you're the curator for a topic + a locale, so say "Bitcoin + eastern Australia." I'd help you set up a bunch of filters that are location based, topic based, and topic adjacent, e.g. if we have another COVID, you could add more alt-health/etc stuff into the filter that'd tailor to your audience.
Essentially, it's a personalized AI tool that'll filter some news items, give you great things to tweet about, *potentially* personalized podcasts, etc.
The revenue model works via mindshare, so essentially you give me $10 (or whatever, pricing not set) a month, I convert that into Bitcoin, and that goes into a pooled account. At the end of the month, you're paid out in Bitcoin based on how many people engage with your filter(s) against where the users on the platform are. The content is yours, meaning you can post newsletters/etc based on the content and retain all rights (I am not a publisher). Then, from there, if you get a user/subscriber base, you'll also get a cut of anyone who signs up to buy Bitcoin, donate to charity (from my business's profits), etc.
The easiest way to conceptualize it is that the app is a circular economy based on dissident virtue, and we monetize fiat into BTC and then distribute the Bitcoin at regular intervals. This shows Bitcoin's use case and also gives people who use the app a strong incentive to create useful content.
Back-end is all NOSTR, I may set up co-owned privkeys out of necessity near-term, but eventually it creates an uncensorable content stream monetized by Bitcoin that also appeals to normies.
It's a lot to chew, if I even achieve like 25% of this I will be very happy. But the grand vision is to transform banking/etc into something that people actually want to use, and the banking apparatus is just incidental and entirely based on Bitcoin.
@btcdiaries21 I'm also not super interested in spending a bunch of time on brand. I can spin product ideas, brand, and marketing stuff all day, every day, no problem.
It's the tech side where I'm weak. So, need to focus on what's feasible, what's meaningful, what's helpful.
@btcdiaries21 Also super simple to illustrate, I already have a splash screen in mind. I don't know. The issue is whether I want to build brand equity now, or product now, or a super app. If I build I super app, I need way more money than I've got and still, dividing the brand is bad.
The issue I'm facing is brand equity erosion. This brand name DOES work. It's just weird to launch the product and not feature much Bitcoin content. I've toyed with the idea of putting a product roadmap in there, sort of a PWA, but I don't know.
The main issue is I need to generate or retrieve content basically constantly. My gamble is that the news content will create a desire for more users to log in, and gives me a path to revenue + helps me show people how Bitcoin works via tipping (is custodial/omnibus with irregular settlement, but I can't help that).
So, if I start with the news portion and can make that valuable enough for people to subscribe, that opens up the revenue model for me.
I could (will) talk longer about the revenue model, but the basic idea is that Bitcoin exchanges aren't sticky. People visit to set up a DCA, or to buy/sell at a given point, but other than that the product is useless to them. In order for Bitcoin to thrive, you have to create engagement and offer strong incentives for people to use the platform, ideally monetary rewards.
So, idk, current name is killer if I launch with a Bitcoin focus initially, but the capital burden to launch an exchange is minimum $100k, probably closer to $150k. I could finance this, but it'd take most of the seed investment/etc I'm making in this, so imo it's better to create something that drives value/revenue from the get-go and back into the Bitcoin offering after the user base is there.
No, because it'll resonate with the users who "watch over the ramparts" at the battle before them. From the US national anthem:
"O say can you see, by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight
O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there"
Did you know that the Star Spangled Banner actually has four verses? Here they are:
O! say can you see by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watch'd, were so gallantly streaming?
And the Rockets' red glare, the Bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our Flag was still there;
O! say does that star-spangled Banner yet wave,
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
On the shore dimly seen through the mists of the deep,
Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam,
In full glory reflected now shines on the stream,
'Tis the star-spangled banner, O! long may it wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.
And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion,
A home and a country should leave us no more?
Their blood has washed out their foul footsteps' pollution.
No refuge could save the hireling and slave,
From the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave,
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave,
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.
O! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand,
Between their lov'd home and the war's desolation,
Blest with vict'ry and peace, may the Heav'n rescued land,
Praise the Power that hath made and preserv'd us a nation!
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto—"In God is our Trust;"
And the star-spangled Banner in triumph shall wave,
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.
