Mentee and mentor on stage: @Jolinedegroof introduces @WBemelman at #ESCP2023 speaking on the role of the mesentery as a new player in #Crohn: brilliant presentation capitalizing on the work of @Johncalvincoffe and Christianne Buskens - great joint session #ECCO#ESCP in Vilnius
Yves Panes #ECCO2023
🤔Provocative ( and thought 💭 provoking ) statement of relationship of mesentery in #CD
Mesenteric 🔄intestinal disease
Based on the work from @Johncalvincoffe
Yves Panis great review of the role of the mesentery in #CD#ECCO2023
Looking forward to seeing the results of the ongoing clinical trials exploring this situation
Yves Panis gives an excellent overview of the current evidence for the role of the mesentery in Crohn’s disease, and implications for surgical management #ECCO23#ecco2023#ibd#gitwitter
@ibdseb Very provocative, thank you for posting, I think it was Behr who first proposed that Crohns Disease pathology involved outside (perhaps the mesentery?) to inside (the intestine) oriented events
@JohnRTMonsonMD@drsusankais@mchiorean4@CrohnsColitisFn For now, excision of the #mesentery must be considered experimental. We need more data like the spoiler here - peri-operative CRP after extensive mesenteric resection - excellent articles at https://t.co/4YAMew8n2m and https://t.co/PgQ8rMwM0y and https://t.co/eZ8zjIS4v0
