I find a lot of beauty and joy in taking something that exists in nature and turning it into something else. This is yet another attempt.
I used @Anthropic's @claudeai to build a vision pipeline that turns the waves from the beach near my house into a generative piece of music

It samples a live beach cam, tracks waves (frequency, mass, displacement) and maps them as MIDI input to a few synthesizers. You can see me turning some knobs in the video, shaping the sound, but the origin is something that I can't control or influence, just observe.
