Several studies show that those labelled with a "mental illness" were actually suffering from a physical condition which went undiagnosed. Real doctors diagnose these conditions, conditions which have biomarkers, and then treat them with real medicine.

Conversely, psychiatrists diagnose people with psychiatric "disorders" which don't have biomarkers and then treat people using dangerous psychiatric drugs that can mask underlying physical causes.

The mind-altering prescribed drugs debilitate people into a state where they become patients for life. It's unkind, it's cruel, it's pseudo-scientific, it's inhumane and it's criminal.

Today in Tampa, I was proud to announce that Florida is the first state in the nation to amend our Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) State Plan to prohibit benefits from being used to purchase inappropriate, luxury and non-essential items.

TANF provides taxpayer-funded Temporary Cash Assistance (TCA) through an EBT card, which cannot be used to purchase alcohol, gamble, or spend money at adult entertainment establishments.

I have directed @MyFLFamilies to amend Florida’s TANF State Plan so that these benefits cannot also be used for tobacco, vaping products, adult content, video games, theme park tickets, tattoos, spa services, tanning, or psychic readings. Taxpayer-funded assistance should help families put food on the table, keep the lights on, purchase clothing, provide for their children and overcome barriers on the path toward independence.

The Lindsay Clancy case is not an outlier. It is a window into how psychiatry actually operates.
Psychiatrists are downplaying the polypharmacy of the 13 different psychiatric drugs prescribed to Lindsay Clancy in just four months, claiming most were “low-dose” and rarely taken all at once. This is an attempt to blunt the public’s reaction to the sheer number of drugs she was given once that information became public. The defense is typical of mainstream psychiatry: ignore the FDA-documented psychological and physical effects of these drugs and the profession’s own minimal standards—standards it routinely fails to meet.

For example, the 2026 American Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology (ASCP) task force—one of the main U.S. organizations psychiatrists are supposed to rely on for the practice of psychopharmacology—states clinicians should begin with monotherapy and that “every time you add a medication, you should stop a medication.” Even Stahl’s Prescriber’s Guide—a practical handbook doctors are supposed to use to switch psychiatric drugs—requires accounting for residual activity and half-lives. That means the doctor must factor in how much of the old drug is still affecting the brain so the patient is not exposed to overlapping or conflicting drug effects, unexpected side effects, or withdrawal while the new drug is being introduced.

These are the low bars psychiatry sets for itself. In the Clancy case, even these lowest of bars were ignored.
Current FDA labeling and clinical guidelines have long recognized that even low-dose psychiatric drugs can require weeks—or longer—to taper and clear, leaving residual effects that continue to act on the brain. In reality, “weeks” is often not long enough. The fact that HHS and SAMHSA are now developing new clinical guidance and training on tapering and deprescribing only confirms what has been known for years: residual effects from these drugs can persist well beyond a few weeks, and current practice has failed to account for it.

With current FDA labeling and clinical guidelines, fluoxetine’s active metabolite can persist for weeks. Short-half-life agents such as paroxetine and venlafaxine are well-known for producing anxiety, irritability, and insomnia during withdrawal. Benzodiazepines can trigger rebound anxiety or paradoxical excitation. SSRIs themselves can cause activation, heightened anxiety, insomnia, emotional blunting, or intrusive thoughts.

When these drugs are piled on in quick succession by multiple uncoordinated prescribers—sertraline, fluoxetine, mirtazapine, trazodone, zolpidem, lorazepam, clonazepam, diazepam, quetiapine, lamotrigine, and others—no clinician can distinguish drug side effects, residual effects, withdrawal, interactions, or the underlying condition. The patient’s condition deteriorated under this uncontrolled pattern of one psychiatric drug being piled on after another.

What this public trial has exposed is how ignorant mainstream psychiatrists are of what has already been publicly proven or disproven. Dr. Sejal Shah, presented as an “expert” as an Associate Chief at a Harvard-affiliated hospital, explained SSRIs as correcting a “lack of serotonin” in the brain—the debunked chemical imbalance myth that mainstream psychiatry claims to have stopped using decades ago. Yet this Harvard psychiatrist apparently didn’t get the memo.

Or psychiatrist Jennifer Tufts, who claimed the FDA’s black-box warning on antidepressants causing suicidal ideation applied only to children. The actual FDA warning covers adults through age 24. And as common sense would dictate, there is no scientific basis for claiming the risk vanishes the day after a patient’s 24th birthday.

Psychiatric nurse practitioner Rebecca Jollotta responded to Clancy’s extreme reaction to Zoloft—48 hours without sleep—by declaring it “unusual” and evidence of possible bipolar disorder, then prescribing the antipsychotic Seroquel. This was not clinical science. It is the same pharmaceutical marketing script engineered in the early 2000s: reframe SSRI-induced agitation and sleeplessness as “unmasked bipolar” so another profitable drug class can be added. Internal Lilly materials trained sales representatives in exactly this diagnostic switch. The company later paid $1.415 billion to settle charges that included illegal off-label promotion of Zyprexa for such uses.

This trial is showing the public that the emperor—psychiatry—has no clothes.

Behind the titles, Harvard affiliations, and talk of chemical imbalances and “unmasked bipolar” sits a profession that runs on behavioral checklists, not science. It shows little interest in ruling out real physical causes—such as thyroid problems in the postpartum period—before prescribing psychiatric drugs. Side effects are rebranded as new disorders and used to justify the next prescription. Drugs are piled on with no reliable way to know what remains in the patient’s system, no required training in how to take people off them safely, and no accountability when the resulting deterioration is labeled a new “mental illness.” This is not an unusual case.

This is mainstream psychiatry in every day practice: no medical workups for underlying physical conditions—just label, drug, and then blame the damage from the drugs on the patient’s ‘disease.’”

ADHD drugs such as Ritalin, Concerta, Adderall, Vyvanse, Focalin, Dexedrine, and more carry the FDA’s most severe warning, the black box, for having a “high potential for abuse,” including “addiction.” According to the FDA May 2023 Drug Safety Communication, “𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗮 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗲, 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘂𝘀𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵.”

The US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) classifies drugs into Schedules I–V primarily according their potential for abuse and drug dependence. ADHD drugs are classified as Schedule 2 – prescription drugs which have the highest potential for abuse, and include OxyContin, Fentanyl, Ritalin, Adderall, Dexedrine, Concerta, Vyvanse, Focalin and more.

Given that data, consider that the CDC estimates 3.7 – 4 million children are currently prescribed ADHD drugs for an ADHD "diagnosis" which is not adjudicated by any medical test, brain scan or confirmatory medical test, but simply a checklist of behaviors. This is why the NIH admits that there is no valid test for ADHD.

Nascondere il bullismo dietro all'ironia e al sarcasmo, non lo rende meno pericoloso e nemmeno meno violento.
Questo suo comportamento intenzionale e ripetuto in continuazione in contesti e argomenti che non la coinvolgono, con il solo scopo di umiliarmi, ridicolizzarmi e danneggiarmi, sfruttando un evidente disequilibrio di potere, è già odioso quando proviene da persone con scarsa educazione e rispetto per il prossimo. 
Diventa inaccettabile e vergognoso quando proviene da una persona che, occupando la ribalta pubblica, moltiplica in maniera esponenziale i rischi che ne derivano.
Perché il  bullismo, quando viene alimentato da una figura pubblica, ha conseguenze reali. 
Io so cosa significa essere presa di mira. So cosa vuol dire aprire il telefono e trovare decine di mail d’odio, insulti, persino minacce. 
E so anche che non sono solo io. 
Ci sono persone comuni, madri, padri, giovani, che vengono sommersi dall’aggressività di chi si crede legittimato dal suo comportamento a "odiare" solo perché le persone osano fare domande o perché non accettano passivamente quello che lei dice. 
E farlo in nome della scienza, non costituisce un alibi, ma una aggravante.
La scienza non è mai stata “io ho ragione e tu devi stare zitto”. 
La scienza è dialogo, è ascolto. 
Se invece di spiegare, umili, se invece di convincere, attacchi, allora non stai diffondendo conoscenza. 
Stai solo creando un branco. 
E il branco è pericoloso. 
Perché quando si dà il permesso al branco di trattare gli altri come nemici, come idioti, come “da cancellare”, allora succede quello che è successo a me e a tanti altri: insulti, intimidazioni, minacce. 
E non è più solo una discussione, diventa violenza. 
Perché le parole non restano confinate su X. Hanno conseguenze. 
E quando una persona viene aggredita, umiliata, minacciata solo perché la pensa diversamente, la colpa non è solo di chi aggredisce, umilia e minaccia, ma anche di chi ha creato quel clima. 
Quali sono le ragioni di questo suo cinico e chirurgico killeraggio nei miei confronti, Mr. Burioni? 
Mi teme a tal punto da rinunciare al rispetto di ogni principio etico e morale pur di mettermi a tacere per sempre? 
Lo fa di sua iniziativa o risponde a qualcuno? 
E la categoria alla quale appartiene intende identificarsi anche essa in questo comportamento di violenza e aggressività nei confronti di una donna? 
Io non ho paura di lei, né ho paura di quegli idioti fanatici che la seguono.
Ho paura di quello che questo odio sta facendo alla nostra società. Perché quando si normalizza la violenza verbale, quando si giustifica il linciaggio digitale, si perde qualcosa di fondamentale: il rispetto per l’altro. E una società senza rispetto è una società che si sgretola.

Preferisce attaccare me, perché sa che il like del gregge di pecore lobotomizzate le costa meno ed è più facile di una risposta a un collega scomodo.
Lei parla di scienza, ma io parlo di verità.
E la verità, al pari della scienza, non si persegue con l’arroganza.
Si cerca. Ma per cercarla, bisogna prima smettere di sentirsi intoccabili.
Il problema non è che io abbia ballato.

This is absurd to me. I’ve always appreciated Jay Bhattacharya but you cannot talk about restoring trust in public health on the heels of approving a new mRNA “vaccine” on an expedited basis after a Phase 3 trail that was NOT against placebo, NOT double blinded, did NOT test to determine if the “vaccine” prevents transmission, and did NOT even bother to test to see if the vaccine helps with the illness.

HHS literally approved an mRNA jab - very similar using the same lipid nanoparticles and same mRNA platform - as the COVID jabs while all this truth is coming out and yet @DrJBhattacharya and @SecKennedy are still talking about building trust in public health?

I have a lot of appreciation for both of these guys but if they want to restore any semblance of trust in public health they should start by informing their boss that his Operation Warp Speed mRNA platform is the basis for the greatest crime against humanity in human history.
