Great to be part of this NREL-led BioLEC EFRC project involving four DOE National Labs. Well done to Max, Obadiah and the whole team. Nice pulse radiolysis work by @KvLakshmy at BNL!
New research could advance the use of abundant nickel in place of more expensive palladium in industrial chemistry. #catalysis@NatureComms https://t.co/TJeXc6DKeh
@robpollice Just saw this. We only generated micromolar concentrations of Ni(I) but we had 0.2 - 1 M of aryl iodide. The decay of the observed Ni(I) absorption is therefore pseudo first order so we don't need to know its concentration for the rate constant.
Excited to share our 2nd paper with Rob Knowles on the electronic properties of open-shelled substituents, enabled by the world-unique combination of pulse radiolysis and time-resolved infrared absorption (PR-TRIR) at LEAF @BrookhavenLab@PrincetonChem

Thank you to all the fantastic speakers, session chairs, helpers and participants at #LEAF25! We had a great time meeting you all, letting you know about pulse radiolysis, and hearing some great science talks! @BrookhavenLab#ChemistryWeek
Join us today to hear about PFAS destruction, energy storage, QIS, astrochemistry and much more on day 3 of the hybrid LEAF25 workshop! Register here (for free) https://t.co/LVORk1cMeW #LEAF25@BrookhavenLab
We are excited to announce a prestigious #fellowship for early career scientists.
Named after Brookhaven Lab Nobel Laureate Raymond Davis Jr., the program honors his multidisciplinary research that transformed physics and continues to inspire scientists. https://t.co/owDsoE3f89
Join us today for some great science talks on day 2 of the hybrid LEAF25 workshop, including @icjennikins @MayerPCET @USCMarinescu@amorri28 @sfeirlab
@ElenaGaloppini and more! There's still time to register (for free) https://t.co/LVORk1cMeW #LEAF25@BrookhavenLab
Jimenez’s research on catalysts for transforming greenhouse gases into useful products could pave the way for a clean energy future.💡#catalysis#CleanEnergy@BlavatnikAwards https://t.co/vXzjOgywpv
Interested in electron and energy transfer, radicals, mechanistic studies, solvated electrons? Join us for a hybrid workshop about pulse radiolysis – the technique you didn’t know you needed! #LEAF25@BrookhavenLab https://t.co/LVORk1cMeW
Incredibly excited for the 2nd BNL/SBU Photochemistry Supergroup (including participants from CUNY campuses!) hosted by BNL Chemistry today! Going to be a great afternoon of talks + discussion about all things 💡💡
Last week, I was really happy to organize with @MBirdChem the first (of many) SBU-BNL Photochemistry Supergroup Meeting here @StonyBrookChem. It was a great afternoon of 10 student + postdoc talks on the use and/or study of photochemical phenomena across all chemistry subfields!
It was a great week for @BioLECEFRC, which held its first “All Hands” meeting in four years here @Princeton@AndlingerCenter with 50 people attending project reviews, poster sessions, a careers panel, and lectures.
