Two offshore patrol vessels from the Barbados Coast Guard (BCG), HMBS RUDYARD LEWIS and LEONARD C BANFIELD departed HMBS PELICAN at 2144hrs to deliver the first batch of over 7 tons of relief supplies from UNICEF to the Regional Response Mechanism, coordinated by CDEMA.
UNICEF-supported emergency supplies have arrived in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to aid with relief efforts for children and families after the eruption of La Soufriere volcano.
