نظمت منظمة العمل الدولية (ILO) بالتعاون مع المكتب التنفيذي لمجلس وزراء العمل بدول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية ورشة عمل حول "الانتقال العادل وتطوير سياسة المناخ من خلال المساهمات المحددة وطنيًا: نهج التعلم من الأقران"، الذي استضافته جامعة حمد بن خليفة بمدينة الدوحة في دولة قطر، خلال الفترة 18-20 فبراير 2025، وذلك استجابة لتوجيهات لجنة وزراء العمل بدول مجلس التعاون، التي أكدت على أهمية دراسة هذا الموضوع ووضع الرؤى والسياسات المناسبة له.
وعلى هامش الورشة، عقد المكتب التنفيذي لمجلس وزراء العمل بدول مجلس التعاون اجتماعًا فنياً ضم ممثلين عن وزارات العمل بدول المجلس، بهدف مناقشة هذا الموضوع من منظور خليجي، بما يسهم في توحيد الرؤى وتعزيز التعاون الخليجي، وصولًا إلى تبني سياسات مشتركة تدعم التحول العادل في دول المجلس.
