I'm finally on my way! After a long, relaxing summer, I'm finally headed to Tokyo as a @jsps_sns Postdoctoral Fellowship. I'll spend the next few years working with Prof. Abe and the many talented scientists @UTokyo_News Lab of Natural Products Chemistry.
Expanding chemistry through in vitro and in vivo #biocatalysis by Elijah N. Kissman, Max B. Sosa @maxbsosa, Douglas C. Millar, Edward J. Koleski, Kershanthen Thevasundaram, and Michelle C. Y. Chang @MChangGroup at @UCB_Chemistry@PrincetonChem in @Nature https://t.co/waqzar0Mo0
Next up, we had Andrew Michael Whitten who did a posh job with his presentation on applying ATP-Grasps to several different problems in protein bioconjugation chemistry.
Announcing our new @PrincetonChem and @PrincetonMSE#ssNMR#DNP instrument: fully installed at Frick Lab, ready for inspired campus research, and one of just a few instruments like it in the world.

Check out our lab’s latest preprint on the biosynthesis of amino acids that feature strained rings. @maxbsosa discovered that these gene clusters contain a PLP-dependent enzyme that forms the ring from a halogenated substrate. https://t.co/WVAdV2SxtN
Read about an amazing new cryo-ET data processing tool developed by @barrettmpowell from the @jhdavislab! Check out my news article on this work and the publication out now in Nature Methods.
