@RealSpikeCohen is a conspiracy theory promoting snowflake. Ashamed to have campaigned and voted for him. Heck, even "You Are The Power" is a ripped off slogan.
@BiblicalAnarchy@ComicDaveSmith@LPNH Ah yes, the strategic divide over whether we should be running around screaming the n word. Very important stuff, I'm so happy you all decided to move on!
Last night, LP chair Angela McArdle told Timcast viewers to look into a crackpot theory called “German New Medicine.” It was thought up by Ryke Geerd Hamer, who claimed that traditional medicine is a Jewish conspiracy to decimate non-Jews.
The Libertarian Party is currently planning to hold a pro-Putin rally in DC later this month. There's a lot of debate about whether it accidentally became a pro-Putin rally or was intended as such from the beginning, but the solution remains the same: pull the plug.
Tara, Apollo, Cara, Michelle, and Bekah provided a value at multiple times the price. They could open their own school if they were so inclined and do very well. I still use things as a candidate and officeholder they taught me and I know I'm not alone.
And of course, @LPNational chair Angela McArdle is jumping in now to make excuses for the meme instead of just deleting it and apologizing. For some reason, I’m reminded of this quote of hers about Hotep Jesus…
@GoldenNittLion@fakertarians She has a long history of making excuses for antisemitism, going back to her defenses of Hotep Jesus as “just asking questions” about the Jews.
She’s been telling people who she is, they should listen.
Earlier today, @LPNational posted a meme that contained anti-Semitic imagery. The moment this was discovered, the tweet should have been deleted.
There is no place for racism or bigotry in the Libertarian Party.
That the repeated and unapologetic antisemitic Tweets from LNC officers and official accounts over the past several weeks is disgusting should go without saying. They continue to cultivate an unacceptable environment of hostility for our Jewish members and supporters.
Seeing someone circulate antisemitic, racist, or white supremacist memes tells you one of two things about them:
Either they ascribe to those repugnant values and are trying to recruit/signal others, or they’ve surrounded themselves with enough of it to have become blind to it.
@LPNH@LPMisesCaucus@MisesChair No, the distinction is that our organizational values are Humility, Ownership, Professionalism, and Entrepreneurship.
When an organization is running counter to those values, we choose not to invite them to sponsor our events.
@B1Coyle In the last 12 months I've helped achieve $1 billion in state tax cuts, filed two new lawsuits against tax collectors, and stopped several problematic federal tax and regulatory increases. So I beat all of them multiplied together
We will not allow the LP and its current leadership to undo decades of work. We will continue to build and grow the movement, just not under the banner of the Mises Caucus Party.
Defeating those trying to destroy the liberty movement from within will be a stepping stone to growing and strengthening the movement. The current version of the LP will be a forgotten joke soon enough, whether it is rebuilt or the new opportunities springing up overtake it.
