I am honored to announce that I have joined the board of the conference series Econometric Models of Climate Change (EMCC).
I am looking forward to many more great editions of EMCC together with my fellow board members @HillebrandEric @FelixPretis and
Tommaso Proietti
@NoNonsenseND I got diagnosed at age 35, both my parents wouldn't even consider thinking about getting a diagnosis. They were part of my diagnostic interviews and never asked about the results afterwards...
@AutisticCoach_ I'm sorry, that sounds awful! Similar things happen to me as well, a lot... I get verbally attacked while I just try to mind my own business and I haven't even opened my mouth. Just our existence seems to bother people everywhere.
In an ideal world, this would be great. In the real world, especially in academia, this seems impossible. 1., 3. and 7. sound most unrealistic to me in the context of my job. Being able to hold a full time job in the long-run seems almost impossible. #ActuallyAutistic#Disabled
Glad for the chance to share our work within #NGFS at the Econometric Models of Climate Change #EMCCVII conf. @VUamsterdam organised by @MFriedrichVU et al.
Conversations bridging Climate Science, Finance and Economics are urgently needed.

What is the evidence for #climatechange?
The evidence for climate change rests on more than just increasing surface temperatures. 🌡️

As an autistic adult with a challenging job, I can relate to this post so much. Unfortunately, almost every day is full of "simple" tasks which often leave no more energy to approach the "more difficult" tasks.
