My Mother used to chase fire trucks (in her car), that and ambulances, once going out Topeka Boulevard past 25th Street she was pulled over by one of Topeka’s finest for doing 82 in a 35, when queried and she explained she was merely following an ambulance the officer said, “Ma’am, you passed it waay back - it turned off on 21st Street.” “Well, no wonder I couldn’t catch up with it!”
