👨💼 Employee: “Kindly accept my resignation.”
👔 Boss: “But you’re doing such a great job! Why are you leaving?”
👨💼 Employee: “I’ve received a new job offer with a 70% salary increase, plus guaranteed annual performance-based raises.”
⏳ 48 hours later…
👔 Boss: “We’ll also give you a 95% raise—just don’t leave!”
👨💼 Employee: “Sorry… it’s too late now.”
💡 Lesson for Leaders:
Employees don’t leave only because of money — they leave when they feel undervalued, unrecognized, and overlooked.
Retaining great employees requires more than last-minute counteroffers:
✨ Recognition
📈 Growth opportunities
🤝 Proactive leadership
💬 Genuine appreciation
Take care of your best people before they decide to walk away.
Just to let you folks know that if we fly OUT of the published flight duty limits, we are at a risk of our license loss.
Licenses can be held up or even cancelled by the civil aviation for going over even 1 min.
Airlines can manipulate systems internally.
Us pilots we can’t.
@Vinamralongani@IndiGo6E Spoke with a few.
People genuinely lost trust in the airline.
This is not my opinion. It is the public say about current status.
People are furious with IndiGo management rather than understanding due unforseen situations.
Get your facts right.
@Vinamralongani@IndiGo6E artificially created situation rather than "it just happened". In all crisis we pilots do support the airline, which if it was natural. Here it is clearly because of poor vision and planning. And no one might have been questioned yet. Or if it so, good for the airline.
@Vinamralongani@IndiGo6E With all the respect, THIS was not unexpected situation with any common brain can understand. 2 years and yet no planning for the situation is something that right minded can question of. Yes I do agree IndiGo is a wonderful airline in the world. But the chaos felt like a 1/2
The marketing and PR team will be having a tough time ahead to change the mind of 19 whatever years of trust built. All got changed within just week... All because of a few handful ones mis planned of upcoming actions. Sad to see the current situation. Was anyone got accountable?
Indigo Saga
1. Govt issues rules to make flying safer in India.
2. Indigo didn’t like those rules.
3. Asks govt to rollback the rules. Govt refuses.
4. #Indigo collects money for flights that are never going to fly.
5. Don't issue cancellation advisory in advance.
6. Make public suffer for 24hrs inside airport by saying flight delayed. Knowing massive public noise would be created.
7. Refund the money after 24 hrs.
8. Earn interest on the money for months since people booked it.
9. Let entire nation suffer, by choking aviation transport totally.
10. Govt rollback the rules.
Welcome to India.
our airline at it's best, we all wants to be with you when you are in need. But this? This seems like a planned action where actually... Lakhs of people are suffering. Does the planning team never knew about IROPS season? What a mess...
It's embarrassing and shame that in 2 years the policy couldn't got planned, 2 full years? The draft came in 2024. The OCC / planning and monitoring along with HR, when thousands of eligible pilots sitting at home, this chaos would have been rectified easily before.
The last two days have seen widespread disruption across IndiGo’s network and operations. We extend a heartfelt apology to all our customers and industry stakeholders who have been impacted by these events. IndiGo teams are working diligently and making all efforts with the support of MOCA, DGCA, BCAS, AAI and airport operators to reduce the cascading impact of these delays and restore normalcy.
We continue to keep our customers apprised of any changes to their scheduled flights and advise them to check the latest status at https://t.co/LrZOdyBFid before heading to the airport. IndiGo deeply regrets the inconvenience caused and remains focussed on streamlining its operations at the earliest.
What kinda saga is this!?
The stock prices went 8% down in one week.
People are angry at poor ground staff.
No one knows what's happening.
2 years and today has there anyone got accountability for this?
Sad and shame at the same time.
As a pilot, we all want to perform

🧵 ₹3,000 CRORE PILOT TRAINING RACKET + MPL TRAP
1/9
🚨 India’s biggest aviation scam hides in plain sight.
Pilot training programs are rigged to inflate prices, ignore merit, and lock cadets into a golden cage called CPL, also MPL.
The numbers are shocking.

🚨 AI171 CRASH – PRELIMINARY REPORT THREAD 🧵
On 12 June 2025, Air India B787 (VT-ANB) crashed shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad, killing 260 people. The preliminary report has just been released. I have my reservations, but let me list here are the major findings: 👇
#AI171 #AirIndia #AviationSafety
@flyingamit Sir the flightradar itself have confirmed it's a data glitch and not an intersection take off.
Let's wait for the reports, the preliminary one atleast since no one have any real clue.
Air India confirms that flight AI171, from Ahmedabad to London Gatwick, was involved in an accident today after take-off.
The flight, which departed from Ahmedabad at 1338 hrs, was carrying 242 passengers and crew members on board the Boeing 787-8 aircraft. Of these, 169 are Indian nationals, 53 are British nationals, 1 Canadian national and 7 Portuguese nationals.
The injured are being taken to the nearest hospitals.
We have also set up a dedicated passenger hotline number 1800 5691 444 to provide more information.
Air India is giving its full cooperation to the authorities investigating this incident.
Air India will release further information via regular updates on its X handle (https://t.co/E5GNmjUHdL) and on https://t.co/j0KFr3rQU2.
Note to Editors: Air India requests media persons not to call the dedicated passenger hotline number.
Reported your profile and I urge the real pilots too to follow the same, it's simply an insult to the entire group and you should have already known the limits.
Otherwise posting another thing is simply shows lack of civics sense even it's an apology.
You knew it dumb fuck.
