@DJSnM It’s somewhat common…IT issues are one cause, I think the most common is ramp congestion - after a storm the arrivals start flooding in before planes can get boarded and depart (and crews not necessarily in place either.) You get to the point that there just isn’t any more room.
@SpaceAbhi About a quarter of a mile before this, there were people on the course and the leader was led down the vehicle chute, having to turn around and rejoin the course. Without that, #2 wouldn’t have been close
@Dig_raw21@flightradar24 Conveniently skips the end of the paragraph in the report, that while Air India did not inspect his aircraft for this defect, it has replaced those switches twice since the bulletin was issued.
