We're gearing up for the second issue of Material and we need your submissions! This Special Issue is on Colonialism and National Liberation in this stage of of late stage imperialism. Send your texts to [email protected]
The inaugural issue of “Material,” an MLM journal for contending schools of revolutionary thought, just dropped. It was a tremendous collective effort to bring this in the world. We hope you find it a useful read!

It's crucial to grasp fascism as an imperialist phenomenon, but also important to see the particularities of its concrete forms. We have to watch out not to drown out the concrete in the abstract but to find their mediations.
There are also particular German aspects to Nazism which Lukàcs investigated in Destruction of Reason. The aristocratic epistemology of Schelling for example.
Moot point because the West doesn't really think Nazis were bad. Nazism was the fulfillment of centuries of Western chauvinism. None of Nazi mythos & ideology originated with German people. From the Aryan race to Eugenics, it all started with the British & Americans.

"The banned Communist Party of India (Maoist) has condemned the arrest of its alleged leader Sanjoy Deepak Rao alias Anil and appealed to “intellectuals and human rights activists” to demand his release."

Likewise, the CPI(Maoist) is not debating Gonzaloism. Funny thing is, Ajith's faction was the most sympathetic to the PCP in the Indian Maoist circles and yet he was also critical of them at the end of the day. Why are people just making up shit?
The threat from the extreme-right on the streets of Germany has been growing alongside the rise in the far-right AfD party.
The latest data shows that as support amongst voters for the AfD grows, hitting 21 percent this summer, so does sympathy for the ideals of National Socialism in German society at large, along with the level of violent crimes and demonstrations by the extreme-right.
We can make nice theoretical arguments about how MLM is the highest stage of Marxist science yet - I'm concinced of it - but ultimately it has yet to be proven in an imperialist country and I can't blame anyone who rejecets it by judging it by our actual praxis here so far.
Not just in the US. If you are in an imperialist country and judge Maoidm by its praxis, if you take seriously the difference between oppressed and imperialist countries, then it is fairly rational to reject Maoism.
I still think that Maoism is a useful tool, and is correct. I just think the way that people have tried to apply it in the US is a pathetic joke and has been for the past few decade tbh
