@LSTMnews/@MLW_Programme team attends a MARC SE project kick-off meeting in Zanzibar. MARC SE is a consortium on Mitigating Antimalarial Resistance in Southern and East Africa. All project partners have convened for a two-day meeting discussing project implementation.
Another exciting day speaking to citizen experts in the central districts of Dowa and Kasungu in Malawi, about the communication and use of genomics data and information for policy and decision making.
Gearing up for our citizen panel in the #beautiful Malawian Northern Town of Rumphi. All set for a 9am start but we had panelists arrive two hours before. They are as excited as we are. Let's talk about use of genomics information for decisionmaking at the grassroot level.

Tomorrow, 21 November, the @MLW_Policy is holding its first citizen panel, speaking and learning with folks about understanding and using genomics data & information for decisionmaking. This is the first in our series of improving the communication of complex science concepts.
