Imagine being a teenage girl who’s working as a camp counselor for a bunch of little girls when a fast and devastating storm hits and you have very little time to react. Now imagine being one of those counselors who just survived the most traumatizing moments of her life only to find out that some of the little girls in her camp passed away, and then she goes online and reads some of the horrific comments that adults are posting just to make a political point.
The only reason why any of you people outside of Central Texas should be online discussing this flood event is to post links for fundraising efforts, help, and any other useful resources. Not to talk shit about people you don’t know during the worst moments of their lives. Grow up.
