THE WOMAN WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO DIE - AND THE BRAIN ANEURYSM THAT SIMPLY VANISHED On April 8, 2011, millions of Catholics around the world were preparing for the beatification of Pope John Paul II. In Costa Rica, one woman was preparing for something else. She was preparing to die. Floribeth Mora Díaz, a wife and mother, had suffered a catastrophic brain aneurysm.
