A great Congressman and an even better person. Rep. Garcia's 2020 campaign was the first campaign I was ever involved in. Working for him was an honor, and his dedication to public service has been and continues to be an inspiration. Wishing you all the best, Congressman.
Since the age of 18 I have served this beautiful country. And representing #CA27 has been an honor of a lifetime. My official statement below as I conclude this remarkable chapter of my life…
BREAKING:Former President Donald Trump and His Holiness Aram I - Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia - discussed Artsakh’s rights, status, and return during a call initiated by the Republican presidential candidate.
According to an official statement from the Holy See of Cilicia, His Holiness Aram I expressed his appreciation for Mr. Trump’s public statement of support for the Armenian people and stressed the vital importance of U.S. global leadership at this critical time. His Holiness conveyed his strong expectation that with a new Administration the United States will deal seriously with the Artsakh issue – particularly with respect to ensuring the right of return for Artsakh’s Armenians, international guarantees for security and status, and accountability for ethnic cleansing. Furthermore, His Holiness voiced his expectation of robust Armenian representation under a new Administration, and the need for open dialogue with the Armenian Eastern and Western Prelacies of the Armenian Apostolic Church of America and the Armenian National Committee of America.
This follows a recent post by former President Trump rebuking the Biden-Harris Administration's failure to prevent the ethnic cleansing of Artsakh's Armenians, and committing to supporting peace in the region.
The ANCA has consistently engaged with both campaigns to elevate Artsakh to the national policy stage and welcomes the statements of support by both candidates on issues of concern to Armenian American voters. The ANCA has declined to endorse either candidate given the Trump Administration's provision of military assistance to Azerbaijan in the lead up to the 2020 Artskah War, and the Harris-Biden Administration's failure to prevent or respond to Azerbaijan's blockade and ethnic cleansing of Artsakh last year. The ANCA stated that it remains engaged with both candidates to ensure they act on their commitments to the Armenian-American community after Tuesday's elections.
To mark 100 days until Election Day, Team Valladares and Team Gipson held a joint-Super Saturday event. We knocked on thousands of doors and spoke with hundreds of voters. A special thank you to GOP State Senate Leader @SenBrianJones for joining us!
Hitting doors in beautiful Chatsworth today to support 24-year law enforcement veteran and GOP candidate for CA State Assembly Patrick Lee Gipson. With your help, we can get Patrick over the finish line in November and flip a crucial Assembly seat in L.A. County!
Thank you, Rep. Mike Garcia (R-CA), for cosponsoring H.R.2803, the Armenian Genocide Education Act, ensuring the Library of Congress additional funding to carry out activities to support Armenian Genocide education programs.
Of course they want to bolster cooperation on climate. They get all the jobs, we get all the costs and mandates. They continue to build two coal-fired plants a week and have cheap energy, we get 40% rate hikes. Nothing about this is good for us.
The military aggression by Azerbaijan against more than 100,000 indigenous Armenians in Artsakh is an alarming and clear indication of a potential genocide.
I stand with Armenia.
We must do more to ensure lasting peace in the region and not allow Russia, Turkey, and Azerbaijan to dictate the situation.

#BREAKING: Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues Co-Chair, Rep. @FrankPallone, spearheaded a letter with over 40 Members of Congress to @POTUS, @SecBlinken, and @USAmbUN to urge efforts at the @UN Security Council to establish a mandate and peacekeeping mission that secures and protects the vulnerable Armenian population in Nagorno-Karabakh.
I strongly condemn Azerbaijan’s attack on Nagorno-Karabakh just hours after it was announced that aid would be allowed into the region. This is an act of bad faith during negotiations to ensure the peace and security of Armenians living in the region.
