This is General Murtala Muhammed's actual staff car, preserved till today at the National Museum Onikan, Lagos.

Murtala's own is a Mercedes Benz 230.6, and it is a stretch, a long wheelbase limousine.

That is why from the side you can count extra windows. Dumuje's own was the regular short Benz, but this Murtala own has six side windows because of the extended body.

That long body was meant for Head of State protocol.

Another thing you will notice inside is the deep red leather seats, still intact.

And if you go close to the front windscreen, the bullet holes from that morning of February 13th, 1976 are still there.
