@Editrix_Rachel Indianapolis has (had?) a literary pub crawl where proceeds went to support an adult literacy program in the city! One of the stops was a nonprofit used bookstore where books were BOGO free if you were on the pub crawl. Affiliated pubs also had literary-themed drinks.
