@nestrior The Romans created a carbon copy of Greek mythology. The Greek had their ideas from old Egypt who were looking back to the Sumerians. Everything beyond that is pure guessing and very speculative

@nestrior Oc: I have a different opinion about this: I think most religions arose from a particular ethical point of view which might have been a revolutional opinion at their time but eventually got used by people making use of them for their own interests...
