@JMaschino_56 It’s more than hitting or pitching coach. It starts with the front office’s inability to draft & develop resulting in having to make awful trades. Then it’s on a manager with loyalty to flailing players with no ability to adapt. Then it’s asst coaches. This REGIME needs to end.

@DanHayesMLB The worst part about this team & the current regime is that it’s joyless. They’re vanilla, lack any exciting personalities & have a robotic management philosophy. The offense is anemic. Just spinning their proverbial boring wheels.

@AlexMicheletti I’ll continue to get hammered by the diehard apologists, but this regime & coaching staff has done nothing to suggest they know how to adapt, make adjustments, cut ties or build a contender. Trades for multiple inj pitchers & stubbornness with Kepler/Pagan is ridiculous.

@BillErchul @jzulgad This would be true if there were a salary cap. But, there isn’t and it’s not a huge contract anyways. It will only hinder their payroll if they choose to let it do so.

But, I do agree with you in the sense that this front office seems completely incapable of diagnosing injuries.

Not Buxton’s fault, but not having a serious emergency plan for him is another blunder by this blah front office.

Weather is too perfect to watch sports on TV rn anyways. I wish the diehards the best & applaud your resilience. I just can’t slog through 162 gms.

@NickNelsonMN @zaclewis24 I remain unsatisfied with the team as a whole & their continued mediocrity. Cool, they finally have a decent rotation. The offense is awful & they’ve still won 0 playoff games in 20 years. They’re slowly bleeding the worst division in baseball. They haven’t earned anything yet.

He’s built his playing & coaching career on grinding and stubbornness, and expecting him to do anything diff is foolish. He clearly didn’t take a single thing away from the St Louis embarrassment.

@zaclewis24 @NickNelsonMN I don’t disagree with you. They needed pitching at the time and he was considered good. Yes, they lucked out in this case. But Paddack, Mahle & every other busted pitcher they’ve whiffed on? Can’t not take future swings bc you dodged one bullet.

@zaclewis24 @NickNelsonMN They also traded for a ton of busted pitchers with known arm issues, so this front office (which was brought here to create a pitching ‘pipeline’) doesn’t get any passes. If they weren’t in an embarrassing division, they’d be fired already. We deserve better than mediocre ball.

@coryc711 @AaronGleeman Agreed. But, Cleveland & Chicago fans probably feel the same way. The truth is probably that all 5 teams are just flat out bad. 82 wins probably wins the division. Look forward to the Twins’ postseason losing streak hitting 21 this year.
