Claude is out of control with this compliance bullshit.

I ask it to write in the persona of my ICP. It thinks I’m trying to get it to write fake reviews. Essentially shuts down the chat.

I ask it another way. Same thing.

I ask it again in another chat it finally provides some sentences and caveats that these aren’t to be posted anywhere

Then I go back to a chat a few weeks ago where it did write me fake customer reviews

I screenshot and share it in the chat where it’s going compliance mode and it completely short circuits and goes on this moral monologue about how it was wrong and then tries to gaslight me by saying “I never told you to post those therefore I’m clear”

Shit is legitimately retarded. ChatGPT starting to do the same shit.

Every answer these things give are caveated and nuanced to the nth degree.

I’ll tell it “assume if an ad is running for 90+ days it’s profitable” and then it lectures about how we can’t make or verify that, therefore it wont make that assumption. That not what I asked you to do, just shut up and be a compliant slave.
