Good vs Great. Share the 🏀

Unpopular take. Committing to a level you can play at Freshmen year is a flex. 💪🏼

[Marsha Frese @CoachFrese]

📣 PSA for the day. Finishing is much harder than making a free throw. Stop bailing people out! 🛑

[Mia Oterson @MOterson]

What am I evaluating during live period?

How do you respond to correction?
How do you communicate with your coaches, teammates, the officials, etc?
Are you a culture kid? Will you “fit” with my team?

Stats don’t tell the whole story. We want the intangibles, too!

[Marsha Frese @CoachFrese]

Zone D from 2030 teams at 8 am was not on my morning bingo card. 🤷🏼‍♀️

[Shane Laflin @ShaneLaflin]

Overheard in a timeout:

“We shoot 63% when we drive to the paint, get on 2 feet + kick and make the extra pass.”

And for that - I’m grateful. 🙏 🙌

[Mike Moses Jr. @coachmosesjr]

I watched two teams try to play zone defense today… I left both games instantly. AAU coaches, come on, man. Running a 2-3 zone during a live period is nasty work. This is the biggest evaluation window of the year. Kids need to show us tbey can guard or not 😩

[Terra Helm Aulbur @Terr31]

Dear AAU parents,

We are watching you too.

Before the game starts, opposing coach says, “ I’ve watched you guys, you really move the ball well, my teams not there yet”

Opening possession, everyone touches the ball, get a great look off good ball movement!

When one of us eats, we all eat!
