@The_Ryan_Shull I feel like Franklin has the better chance of becoming an impact starter for us (mainly due to health), but Clarke has the better chance of developing into an ace.
@DealinTheCards Sadly, I think that ship sailed with his late July and August (which is a bummer, because the wrist injury may be the cause).
Having said that, if he doesn't win the Gold Glove this year, we genuinely riot. π
@GameCube_Xeno You don't come in between a Momma and her child. I found it VERY understandable.
Now, the perfect way that he sat on the bleachers after being shot at point blank range in the head... that was the part that I was like, "Guh, wa?!?!?"
@kyler416@RedbirdFarmhand Any reports on how Royelny Strop is doing? I know that it's hard to evaluate at that level, but we've literally heard NOTHING about him in months.
@AidanG_Baseball@RedbirdFarmhand This is super important when it comes to next year's rookie of the year and the possibility of getting an extra draft pick.
@The_Ryan_Shull You're not gonna want to hear this, but I feel like we should give the team 1 more year to develop and then go full-throttle in 2028.
That'll give the AA/AAA young studs time to get up here and they can REALLY assess what needs they have in FA/trade.
@Ol_Pete1926@PastTheEyeTest Yep.
Doyle/Clarke/Franklin could end up as the ace, but none of them are proven. They'll probably need to package some of their depth (and maybe Ivan?) to trade for one. No idea who, though.
@Ol_Pete1926@PastTheEyeTest They've got Jesus Baez tailor-made to come in and take the hot corner.
And CF is earmarked for Tai Peete, likely (with Trevor Condon arriving around 2029/30).
@kyler416 If the Cardinals can make Jordan Walker into a passable RF, then they can certainly transform an athlete like Tai Peete into atleast an average fielder in center.
I have all the faith in the world in the development team that Chaim has assembled.
