🇺🇦 😷💙🌊🗳🏳️🌈 ally, friend to animals & earth; here 4 politics & public health. If you follow then unfollow me when I follow you back, just don’t, thanks.
@7Veritas4 I changed careers, now work for my elections office designing outreach and education for youth and traditionally underrepresented populations, and leading a committee of diverse community leaders to ensure voting accessibility for all. I love my new job!
California just held an election with paper ballots, signature verification, audits, bipartisan oversight, and public vote counting procedures.
You don’t get to yell “fraud” every time voters make a choice you don’t like.
Take the whiny little b*tch act somewhere else. We’re not buying that bullshit in this state!
@AdamTsuris@cocomarvgrows There isn’t any downside. If we are wrong and the thousands of studies are bogus, all we’ve done is wear a mask and avoided all sorts of bugs. If the studies are correct, tjen webe preserved our health the best we can. Easy calculus.
Enough studies came out last week ALONE to justify having worn a respirator every day for the past six+ years and wearing one every day going forward. You're making a grave mistake if you're fine with getting COVID.
"Stay in your basement if you're so scared of Covid"
I'm not scared of Covid, I'm scared that our kids and their kids won't have anything that resembles the world we enjoyed as kids, and teens, and young adults.
But I'm also angry that so many adults don't care if they do.
Don't you care?
@fawfulfan The VAX does NOT prevent COVID or LONG COVID. it reduces risk of hospitalization and death which is good but respirator masks are required to actually prevent COVID. COVID expected to kill over 150,000 this year. Long COVID is number 1 chronic illness. 5.8 million children.
Trump’s team is being deceptive.
The Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) is a basic 10-minute screening tool for early dementia and mild cognitive impairment — not an IQ test or proof of ‘extreme intelligence.
He’s having to repeat it because his medical team is gauging his decline. 👇🏻
@AbigailJoyFloat@leamaric I don’t believe this. Both my kids need ortho and I breast fed no bottle for 3 and 4 years (last one was cow dairy allergic so did it for longer). For them it’s definitely genetics.
@ConservativaPol 🇺🇸 Our American bicentennial in 1976 was incredible. People united to celebrate the most successful nation in the world's history. And all in 200 years. We celebrated all year. It's so sad to see Trump and GOP leaders making this a divisive time and leaving half the country out.
Love seeing more people connecting the dots and realizing they were lied to about Covid.
It’s never too late to mask again in shared air. Even just masking on mass transit and running errands can make a huge difference 😉🫶🏽😷
MIT found Alzheimer's-like amyloid plaques in the brains of people who died of COVID. https://t.co/QbSJWJQhGW
Spike proteins were clustering with amyloid.
This was not in older adults with pre-existing disease.
It was caused by COVID.
I’ll never understand how so many talking heads convinced the public that repeated infection with a neuroinvasive, vascular, immune-disrupting virus was simply an acceptable part of modern life.
Somewhere along the way, “less likely to cause acute hospitalization” got translated into “mild” and then further translated into “harmless.” Those are not the same thing.
Masking has some serious side effects.
1. Reminds people that Covid, an immune damaging virus is spreading freely.
2. Triggers rude comments, and fear driven verbal attacks.
3. Creates unease among leaders because they are not willing to do what must be done.
4. Forces adults to acknowledge the reality of kids being sick so much more often.
5. Causes people to be sick less often.
6. Causes a reduction in financial ruin due to illness.
7. Has a dramatic impact on increasing lifespan.
What other serious side effects can you think of?
