@PaulMer53 I figured you and crew are all trained to handle any rowdy fans and to defuse any foolishness.
👊🏻🤛🏻🤘🏻🤙🏻you wouldn’t be in demand if you weren’t. 🎸
@PaulMer53 Looks like that’s a challenge to escort the band through a mob of STO fans on the stadium floor. No doubt you’ve rehearsed this senecio countless times.
🎸👊🏻🎸
@MCCCANM@1Aerosavant My 1st airplane job was at Mooney Aircraft in ‘83, Engineering Flight Test. Calibrated and installed flight test transducers on the 201,231&301. Even got to fly along and record data.
@BuzzPatterson Did that in 2000 on NASA817 except we were headed to Perth. Could see climbers making their way up. I’m sure they got a thrill watching us. ✈️🇺🇸
@MCCCANM On the NASA PEM West B mission NASA717 made a stop at Yokota AFB back in’94 I remember a line of locals waiting to be given access to the O Club. ✈️🇺🇸
Here’s the fwd cargo of N577NA during the L3 mid. You can see the 2 large Nadir ports framed with black anodized aluminum on the center line. Photo credit L3.
@jadamzs@thenewarea51 Here’s some of the special windows NASA817 offered for the Airborne Science Community. NASA577’s experimenter windows are larger. The next structure mod is about 5 yrs away.
@jadamzs@thenewarea51 This was the 1st of the structural mods to take place. For $32M N577NA got 6 Nadir ports in the FWD Cargo Bay, 2 large & 4 small.4 modified passenger windows to support experimenter probes, air inlets, optical glass. It’s a start, but more Zenith,AFt Cargo Nadir, windows are needed
@nbcbayarea That was almost 2 years ago. She was once a NASA Ames asset N717NA before being transferred to NASA Armstrong N817NA. I started working on her in 1993 and transferred with her to SoCal in 1998. I’ve had the pleasure of flying and supporting Airborne Science world wide. ✈️🇺🇸
