Our Electoral democracy is compromised in multiple ways:
A lapdog ECI which is selectively removing & adding voters thru a corrupt & non-Transparent SIR.
EVMs which increasingly seem manipulated & ECI refusing to give source code of software in them.
Not counting VVPAT slips.
ECI not putting out voting figures of Form 17C in public domain.
Increasing the Votes declared after polls in next few days before counting.
Not providing CCTV footage of queues outside polling booths.
Arbitrarily rejecting nominations of opposition candidates.
Selectively enforcing model code of conduct only against opposition candidates.

Unfortunately, the Courts, particularly the SC is playing along with the govt & ECI in this throttling of democracy.
Judges should remember that going along with the govt in throttling democracy may secure them a promotion & post retirement jobs, but is creating increasing distrust & anger against them. They will go out in ignominy & will be insulted in public & by posterity. This is exactly what happened to judges who failed to protect democracy & rights in the past. On the other hand, judges who stood up are revered & worshipped. See Justice Khanna & Justice Krishna Iyer as some shining examples

इन्होंने अपने भाई का 65000 रुपए का पॉलिसी बाजार से आदित्य बिड़ला का हेल्थ इंश्योरेंस करवा रखा है! अब इनका भाई कैलाश हॉस्पिटल में भर्ती है!

अब इंश्योरेंस वाले इनका फॉर्म रिजेक्ट कर दे रहे हैं कह रहे हैं नॉर्मल बुखार है घर पर ठीक हो जाएगा इसके लिए हॉस्पिटल आने की क्या जरूरत थी! जबकि हॉस्पिटल में 5 दिन हो गए अभी तक ठीक नहीं हुआ है!

ये हेल्थ इंश्योरेंस वाले पॉलिसी देते टाइम तो दस्त के इलाज तक की गारंटी लेते हैं लेकिन जब बीमार हो जाओ तब पीछे हट जाते हैं! इसलिए हेल्थ इंश्योरेंस भी एक तरह का फ्रॉड है!

There is a new scam by @IndiGo6E these days.

When you web check-in, they don’t show any free seat options to select.

If you skip seat selection and choose auto-assigned seating, they say you'll receive your boarding pass by email around 4 hours before departure. In my case, it never arrived.

When I called customer care to ask why the boarding pass wasn't sent, they told me that auto-assigned seating can only be done 12 hours before departure. If it isn't assigned by then, the airport has to allocate the seat. They also said they have no way to contact the airport.

So you are forced to reach the airport at least 1 hour early for physical check-in. If you arrive close to the check-in cutoff, they may refuse to issue a boarding pass and say you missed the check-in deadline.

Technically, there are no FREE seats for web check-in.

Everybody is out here scamming common people because apparently there’s nowhere for us to go and complain. Well done!

मीनाक्षी नटराजन पर अब कोई आरोप ही नहीं है।
तमिलनाडु के जिस कोर्ट के सामने वह याचिका लाई गई थी जिसके आधार पर उनका नामांकन रद्द किया गया कोर्ट ने वह याचिका ही वापस कर दी है।
सुनवाई योग्य न मानते हुए फरियादी को वापस लौटाई।

अब क्या है?
अब एक शिकायत है और जिसका ना पहले था ना अब है मीनाक्षी से कोई संबंध।
ना कोई कानूनी स्टैंड।

इस तरह की जैसे कोई कहे कि फलाना आपके ट्वीट पर आकर यह कमेंट कर गया है इसलिए आप दोषी!

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने तो सुनवाई की ही नहीं कोई भी कोर्ट करेगा तो उसे मनाना पड़ेगा की मीनाक्षी को चुनाव अधिकारी ने बिना गुनाह के सजा दे दी।
हां यह कह सकता है सुप्रीम कोर्ट के उस फैसले
की तरह की चलो कोई बात नहीं इस बार भुगत लो अगली बार देखेंगे।

यही कहा था ना बंगाल के चुनाव में लाखों वोटरों को इस बार नहीं दे पाए तो कोई बात नहीं अगली बार दे लेना।

राहुल ने कहा है इस सीट चोरी।

मगर यह सीट का डाका है। खुलेआम डाला गया है और चुनाव अधिकारी से लेकर चुनाव आयोग सुप्रीम कोर्ट राष्ट्रपति कहीं सुनवाई नहीं।

अब राहुल का जन प्रतिरोध ही काम करेगा। यह डाका बहुत महंगा पड़ेगा। डाके से लोग डर तो जाते हैं मगर नफरत भी बहुत करते हैं।

Deeply shocking to read this official US statement, which contains absolutely no expression of regret or condolence for the loss of innocent Indian lives. How can a “friend” and strategic partner be so deeply insensitive?

Why couldn’t a non-compliant commercial vessel have been stopped using other, non-lethal means? Is it not possible to disable a ship's propulsion or steering without firing missiles targeted to kill civilian crew members?

Practically every merchant ship navigating these crucial waters has Indian crew on board. Are they all considered fair game for US missiles now?

This approach is unacceptable and I hope @DrSJaishankar had said so to @marcorubio.

This guy has exposed a trick of IndiGo Airlines.

He had a flight to Pune at 6:00 AM. He reached the airport on time, but his web check-in wasn't working.

At the counter, he was told that web check-in had to be completed at least 24 hours before departure.

By then, the flight was full.

Now his question is: if the number of tickets sold is equal to the number of seats available on the flight, how did someone else get his seat?

Are airlines selling more tickets than the number of seats available?

His second question is: if someone books a ticket just 4–5 hours before departure due to an emergency, how can they possibly complete web check-in 24 hours in advance?

Airlines can easily say they'll move passengers to another flight, but the passenger is the one who suffers — through lost time, mental stress, missed commitments, and urgent meetings.

The dentist went numb like she couldn't believe what he had just asked.

जब इंश्योरेंस कंपनी से टोटल क्लेम किया तो कंपनी ने रिजेक्ट कर दिया , और कारण दिया कि आपने चौड़े टायर लगवाए थे इसलिए एक्सीडेंट हुआ हैं ,

कार मालिक ने बताया कि प्लान लेते समय ऐसी कोई बात नहीं बताई गई थी , कंपन मेरे साथ Scam कर रही हैं !

जिस हिसाब से बीमा कम्पनियां बेइमानी कर रही हैं , उसको देखते हुए बीमा कराने को ऑप्शनल कर देना चाहिए ,

जिसकी मर्जी कराए नहीं तो मत कराए , क्यूंकि कस्टमर सिर्फ प्रीमियम दे रहा हैं और कम्पनियां अरबों खरबों में खेल रही हैं !

The government collects taxes promising public services.

Then the same middle class pays again privately for everything.

Private schools because government schools fail.

Private hospitals because public healthcare is broken.

RO water because tap water is unsafe.

Inverters because electricity is unreliable.

Gated societies because public safety feels weak.

Private vehicles because public transport struggles.

So what exactly are people getting in return for their taxes besides more taxes?

The middle class is no longer paying once for survival.

It is paying twice for every basic necessity.

सतना के नागौद बस स्टैंड के पास मजदूर से मारपीट का यह वीडियो है। मजदूर की पत्नी छोड़ देने की मिन्नते कर रही है। गरीबों, मजलूमों के लिए अपराध प्रदेश में बदलते जा रहे एमपी में पुलिस सो रही है क्या?

अगर थोड़ी सी भी संवेदना शेष है तो जो मार रहा है उसका कल जुलूस निकाल कर दिखाइयेगा। यह वीडियो में पिछले कई घंटों से अलग अलग जगहों पर देख रहा हूं और मर रहा हूं।

एक छात्र विचलित हो कर प्रधानाचार्य के कमरे में पहुँचा।

“सर, मुझे ऐसी गलती के लिए दंडित किया गया है जो मैंने की ही नहीं।”

“अच्छा?” प्रधानाचार्य ने चश्मा ठीक करते हुए कहा। “क्या तुम्हारे पास कोई प्रमाण है?”

“जी सर। जिस दिन यह घटना हुई बताई जा रही है, उस दिन मैं विद्यालय में था ही नहीं। यह उपस्थिति रजिस्टर की प्रति है, और यह प्रतियोगिता में भाग लेने का प्रमाणपत्र।”

प्रधानाचार्य ने कागज़ देखे।

“हूँ… संभव है कि तुम्हारे साथ अन्याय हुआ हो।”

छात्र के चेहरे पर उम्मीद चमकी।

“तो आप दंड रद्द कर देंगे?”

“इतनी जल्दी नहीं। पहले एक महत्वपूर्ण प्रश्न है।”

“कौन-सा प्रश्न, सर?”

“यह कि तुम्हारी शिकायत सुनने का अधिकार किसके पास है।”

छात्र कुछ क्षण चुप रहा।

“लेकिन सर, मैं तो यह बताने आया हूँ कि दंड गलत है।”

“वह बाद की बात है।”

“बाद की?”

“हाँ। पहले यह तय होगा कि यह मामला प्रधानाचार्य देखेंगे, अनुशासन समिति देखेगी, या कोई और देखेगा।”

“लेकिन सर, अगर मैं निर्दोष हूँ तो?”

“यह भी एक महत्वपूर्ण प्रश्न है।”

“तो उसका उत्तर कौन देगा?”

“जो भी सक्षम प्राधिकारी होगा।”

“और वह कौन है?”

“यही तो हमें तय करना है।”

छात्र ने फिर प्रमाणपत्र आगे बढ़ाया।

“सर, आप अभी देख सकते हैं कि मैं उस दिन विद्यालय में था ही नहीं।”

प्रधानाचार्य मुस्कुराए।

“बेटा, तुम बार-बार तथ्यों की बात कर रहे हो। मैं अभी प्रक्रिया की बात कर रहा हूँ।”

“लेकिन सर, दंड तो मुझे मिल चुका है।”

“हाँ।”

“प्रतियोगिता से मेरा नाम भी हट गया है।”

“हाँ।”

“तो फिर अभी क्या होगा?”

प्रधानाचार्य कुर्सी पर पीछे टिक गए।

“अभी हम इस बात पर विचार करेंगे कि तुम्हारे मामले पर विचार करने का अधिकार किसे है।”

छात्र ने थककर पूछा,

“और यह तय होने के बाद?”

प्रधानाचार्य बोले,

“फिर शायद कोई यह देखेगा कि तुम्हारे साथ अन्याय हुआ भी था या नहीं।”

छात्र चुपचाप बाहर निकल गया।

दंड यथावत था।

प्रमाण भी यथावत थे।

बस एक बात अभी तक तय नहीं हुई थी….

सत्य को देखने का अधिकार आखिर किसके पास है।
