The range of disciplines coming together at the @FSHDSociety IRC last week to tackle such a complex disease was impressive! I presented a talk & poster on our work using mathematical models of FSHD to theorise about treatment approaches. Preprint here: https://t.co/7hRSMF06F4
A legendary lineup of speakers this week at the Antwerp T cell receptor (TCR) conference! Thanks to the organisers and everyone with whom I had conversations. Enjoyed discussing our group's latest algorithms for TCR repertoire profiling! Latest version: https://t.co/KQYoTLS91u
Less than a week left to submit abstracts for the 3rd London Quantitative Immunology Day! https://t.co/uxrsTS92Su.
Register and share your work with a diverse set of biologists, physicists, mathematicians all united by a common interest in immunology.

As a happy end of year post π²π I'm delighted to share I've been awarded a @RoyalFreeChty ECR grant! I'll be studying the clonality of T cells in fascioscapulohumeral dystrophy. Huge thanks @BennyChain, @iit_ucl, and collaborators at Queen's Square and King's College. π
Three years today since we moved into the Pears Building! π To mark this, we've just launched a new film celebrating some of the fantastic scientists from the Stauss Lab here at the Institute π¬

Thanks Benny! Highlights include: CLI app, new UMI error-correction algorithm to handle high UMI diversity (24x speedup), new sparse matrix objects for memory efficiency (2x saving), and new testing suite! π
For all the T cell receptor sequencers out there, the latest version of our analysis pipeline Decombinator 5.0 is live, and now on PiPy for greater ease of installtion ! Thanks to Matt Cowley for a huge amount of work !

Lovely as always working with @FSHresearch, Prof. Pete Zammit, and Dr Christopher Banerji.
It's official! Lovely to celebrate the PhD with everyone this week. Can't thank my family, my supervisors (@pjcgroupbath, Alison Walker, and Matthew Wolf), and @Bath_IfS enough for all the support.
Couple of updates from me! First, I submitted my PhD thesis a few weeks ago! π Next stop the viva.
And secondly, if you're interested in estimating the properties of perovskite solar cells via Bayesian inference, check out the very talented Sam McCallum's work in JPhys Energy.
