Junior doctors have voted YES to strike action in England.
This is a giant step forward for junior doctors and #PayRestoration. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard for this. Keep an eye out for next steps. #BMADoctorsVoteYes https://t.co/aqmKXZXKN6
Congratulations to Knudsen and Prasad for this important systematic review regarding post-vaccination myocarditis in young males.

@Rod__Mason@alisonleary1@theAliceRoberts It’s not what I see on the ground. Suspect that some are on sick leave. We caught Covid, were exhausted, terrified. Off with Chronic health conditions like bad backs and anxiety, PTSD, long Covid maybe.
@Rod__Mason@alisonleary1@theAliceRoberts Nurses don’t want to come to Britain now. We made immigrants unwelcome, there is a cost of living crisis, the working conditions are terrible AND the weather is rubbish
@dr_ianjackson@alisonleary1 I can’t imagine retired health care workers want to return to work. Sadly things have got so much worse in the last 5-10 years , you wouldn’t recognise it.
In my previous role as comms rep, I have:
💻 Built the website Rouleaux uses today from scratch
🔪 Helped run courses and competitions
💬 Point-of-contact for membership
… and more with excellent feedback from the committee!
@Ryanair utter cowboys. The form to claim a refund or compensation has been made as difficult to use as possible. Are you trying to prevent people legitimately claiming money back?
Word of the day is another old favourite.
A 'mumpsimus' (16th century) is someone who insists that they are right, despite clear evidence that they are not.
Glad I got into CST before whatever this is… surely not fair to announce the need for a (costly?) non-surgical exam just a month before applications open?!
Last year it was last minute portfolio changes, now this - further blow to trainees who spend years on their portfolio! 🤡
@ldwijesinghe@VSGBI@RouleauxClub I’m not as keen to evert in a high bifurcation ( or when the end point of the ICA disease is high) . It’s a little more fiddly. Otherwise great technique. I would do a standard technique if they failed test clamp.
