Today, IWMI and GIZ organized a workshop on Contribution of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS) to Natural Resource Management, Water Security, and Climate Adaptation at New Delhi. Shri Nitin Khade, Joint Secretary (WM), DoLR applauded the convergence of MGNREGA with WDC-PMKSY Scheme. He also informed as to how Janbhagidari in watershed development projects is being promoted through the ongoing Watershed Yatra & Watershed Janbhagidari Cup under WDC-PMKSY Scheme.
