After great success at the @RTX_News Quadcopter Challenge 2024 in the @LondonAirCadets debut year, we move onto our first STEM competition for 2025!
The UKROC Challenge!
Today was spent building rockets for this!
Lots of testing and some great teamwork!

And thats a wrap to a busy July with the @aircadets!
Kicking off with ISCRIM 2024 at NRA Bisley!
Then onto helping deliver an AT Week in Windermere with the @LondonAirCadets.
Then finally onto a week long L98 shooting camp in preparation for CISSAM 2024!

Sunday, I had the privilege to attend the @RoyalAirForce Founders Day Commemoration Service at St Clement Danes Church.
Fantastic service and was great to meet AOC 22 Group @cabster3560 and discuss the STEM initiatives for @LondonAirCadets.

Then last weekend brought on an L81 Shoot in preparation for ISCRIM 2024.

Phew. It’s been a busy week.
Starting off with @citylordmayor’s Colloquy, organised by @SallyBridgeland focusing on sustainable education #SDG4, I joined this panel as a speaker representing @aircadets and shared my experiences both as a learner and an educator. 📖

Busy parade night... undergoing some Blue Leadership assessments with our MTA kits and learning to code with Microbits in a "treasure hunt" style activity! Cadets were tasked to build a receiver, find the missing Microbits, and decode a hidden message 📡

Fantastic day yesterday, running London Wings 1st #STEM Coding & Robotics Workshop as the Wing STEM Officer. The course concluded in 18 new Crest Awards in @LondonAirCadets. Lots of aspiring engineers and other STEM enthusiasts now looking forward to the next wing STEM event!

How was your end to the holidays?
The most recent intake of 34F recruits along with cadets from local SQNs spent their weekend at ATC Crowborough taking part in our biannual recruit camp. This gave the cadets a taste of a wide variety of activities offered in the @aircadets.

Another great ☀️ weekend with the @aircadets spent coaching @34F_SQN in preparation for ISCRIM 2023! We were even lucky enough to have a fly past by the @rafredarrows‼️

I have also been fortunate to have been a national ambassador for @aircadets during 2022 and I hope this has shown my peers they too can achieve just as much and hopefully go on to do even better. I hope that we as an organisation keep #EmbracingEquity!
