You don’t need to be a tech bro to buy a good laptop.👇
Most sellers will throw around big grammar like:
Core i7, 13th Gen, SSD, NVMe, GPU, VRAM…
and confuse you into overspending.
Simple breakdown:
• Core i3 / i5 / i7 = Laptop power level
i3 = basic use
i5 = best for most people
i7 = heavy work like editing/gaming
But here’s the real trick…
Generation matters more than i3/i5/i7.
A 13th Gen i5 can be faster than an old 7th Gen i7.
Read that again.
That “cheap Core i7 laptop” some sellers hype?
It may actually be old, slow, and a bad deal.
Then storage:
• HDD = very slow
• SSD = fast
• NVMe SSD = lightning fast
Rule of thumb:
Never buy a laptop with HDD in 2026 unless you enjoy suffering.
Bonus Windows hacks many people don’t know:
• Win + V → See everything you copied today
• Win + Ctrl + L → Live captions for videos/audio
• powercfg /batteryreport → Check real battery health
Bottom line:
Stop buying laptops because of sweet mouth marketing.
A modern Core i5 + recent generation + NVMe SSD will serve most people better than an ancient “Core i7.”
Laptop sellers won’t tell you this.
Now you know😁
Simele Vuyo! Guys I urge you to please tell those who don’t know Vuyo about Vuyo and the work he has continued to do since going into parliament. He has continued to advocate for ordinary South Africans. Vuyo isn’t pompous, doesn’t hop on trends 4 votes.
“They killed my mother — and before that, my brother. I urge everyone: do not go to the American aid distribution points soaked in blood. This bag only contains 2 empty flour sacks — nothing else — & yet they shot & killed my mother as she tried to get us something to eat today.”
Did you know that the government will be spending more than R600 million on the 30th June, all because of Jacinta Ngobese and her xenophobic friends?
Now tell me, how is this patriotic and how does it help South Africans?
@auny_d@Kgomotso_TooRad@jessicdutchess_ Okay ke uthi senzeni ke Aunty D. Please come with solutions ngoba as far as it stands people are supporting this initiative.. manje senzeni ke?
@DrLimukaniMathe@Christo02294356 You cannot compare a poor South African with a poor Zimbabwean..
A poor South African has 24 hour access to clean water, electricity and health care..
A South African can have a brain surgery or an organ transplant without having to leave Soweto.. Think about that..
