New boss rooms, new daily events, new gems, new guards. And more!
Just updated Everise demo for its participation in #nextfest

Here's a preview of a siege with the new raiders :)

[MacMorgan @MacMorganDev]

@MidnightCafeAU Thanks!! I just saw he posted a video, I'm super excited about the engagement it created 😄

[MacMorgan @MacMorganDev]

Demo launch doing okay, wasn't expecting so much interest after only a few hours :)

Last few days were exhausting, it's nice to see positive results.
Gonna take a couple days off then start planning for what comes next :)

Also quite funny, a few chinese content creators posted videos of the game on bilibili and we started getting loooots of wishlists from China.
Someone even offered to translate the game, so it will come out with a Chinese localization

Hoping it'll get noticed over here too :)

[MacMorgan @MacMorganDev]

Everise Demo comes out tomorrow, just in time for the Medieval Fest :)

It's a Turn-Based Strategy #roguelike where you build and defend your town using resources extracted down balconies as you crawl through the floors of a giant Tower.

My friend wanted to help me make a cute video showcasing the looting loop in Everise :)

We're trying to increase our wishlists in anticipation of a game festival, check it out here:

I've been working with a real #musician to compose custom-made music for my game Everise
Here's a showcase of the progress we made today on dynamic wardrums for the siege tracks.

Everise is a turn-based #roguelike where you recycle the Dungeon's furniture to build up and defend your town

We'd love to hear your feedback :)

Warrior armor progression, from tier 1 to 3.

[MacMorgan @MacMorganDev]

@KakapoCalypse A Dungeon Crawler where all the furniture can be destroyed to salvage resources.
Finishing up the tutorial right now and it's nice seeing the game reaching a playable state :)

[MacMorgan @MacMorganDev]

Working on the tutorial.
This room will be used to teach the player about spell usage.
Using a water spell to push a rat out of the way before it shoots.

[MacMorgan @MacMorganDev]

I made a timelapse of Everise devlopment, from early prototype to current alpha build.
Fun seeing all the progress and small details improving over time.

@TheIndieManiac Working on Everise
A game where you find the material to build up your town by Looting & Pillaging all you can from a Dungeon

@Esty8nine Agree, but surprisingly I also had players tell me the opposite.
They want to farm the 15 ascensions on each hero instead of just once.
Maybe it's more casual players who wanna stick to one game vs gamers who play lots of games and want to move fast
But it needs to stop anyway ^^

More info on Everise magic system 🪄
Spells are cast by dragging a gem into one of your casting slots.
Left slot casts a slow spell (triggering after enemy actions) and right is fast.
Each element has two unique spells, offering options for every situation.

@Scambl @Phantom_TheGame Haha love this question because that was one of the most amazing realisation I had when I started having solid coding bases -> if you can imagine it, you can do it.
I'm probably not qualified enough to actualy answer, but it's a fun thought experiment, to imagine an unfixable bug

[MacMorgan @MacMorganDev]

@TheFoxKnocks That's been like my video game litmus test for years.

When you start a game for the first time and the volume is already at 30%, you know the dev is cooking

[MacMorgan @MacMorganDev]

@LenteGameDev Oooh, I think I have the perfect clip for that! Great idea 😃

[MacMorgan @MacMorganDev]

@OverhypeStudios So it lays 0.5% of its value per day?
If you think that's worth keeping I just want to point out for 20$ you can buy a live egg-laying chicken that will generate a 0.30$ egg every day, that's a 1.5% return per day.
That's not a golden goose, it's a third of a basic hen.🐔
