Mental health within the Ambulance Service isn’t necessarily triggered by a traumatic job but it can be a cumulative effect from demand, late finishes, other incidents attended and personal issues that could be on going at home. It’s important to look after each other! ☺️🚑

Wellness means something different to everyone I've asked. But surely the opposite of wellness is burnout, which has a clear 3-part definition: 1. exhaustion 2. detachment 3. feeling ineffective/unaccomplished. Wellness initiatives, then, must combat these 3 things (IMHO #3>#1)
