When Big Tech 1) demands and then funds all the nuclear reactors needed to power its digital global surveillance operation, 2) brings in its own water instead of depleting rural aquifers (its backers claim it’s a “closed loop” water system, so it’s just a one-time investment they’ll need to make, and I see no reason they can’t use seawater and make the choice to fund any desalination and delivery infrastructure), 3) agrees to hire only American workers for American data centers, 4) cuts the American public in for a share of its massive computing profits, and 5) pays reparations for all the business and lives they destroyed with their commie nonsense over the last decade, I’ll be open to the idea of letting them build out data centers in the U.S.

Until then, they’re the exact same bunch of communists who funded BLM, censored Americans from telling the truth about basically anything, deplatformed their political enemies, and offshored American jobs until they were allowed to import millions of inept and anti-American foreign laborers to replace actual Americans. Their new “we gotta beat China!” rhetoric is just empty BS meant to con the rubes until the commie billionaire oligarchs can suck the American host dry and move on to the next thing they plan to destroy.

@Cernovich I think you mixed up what Dave Ramsey said. He doesn't want her boyfriend to pay her 90k debt. He's saying if her 90k debt is the only reason he won't get engaged to her then she should move along. It's a big difference. Find the right person, marry them and then work together.

POTUS is laying out two courses of action—a negotiated settlement, or a major escalation.

There is a third option, and he should take it: recognize there is no way to force a positive outcome and simply leave.

The region is not ours to fix. President Reagan chose this path in Lebanon in ‘84, withdrawing U.S. forces after the Beirut barracks bombing once it became clear the mission’s stabilization goals could not be met, effectively ending direct American military involvement and avoiding a deeper quagmire and long-term entrenchment in the region.

A negotiated settlement is unlikely to work or be taken seriously by the Iranians unless we make concessions on the enrichment issue. As we saw yesterday in the SOH, the IRGC is empowered to act without the consent of the civilian leadership, so it’s likely they won’t honor any deal reached.

A major escalation will lead to a very destructive outcome for Iran, the region, and eventually the U.S. If POTUS chooses brute force and targets civilian infrastructure, we will create another generation of radicalized Iranians who will rally around the regime and escalate the war by any means possible.

If POTUS opts to strike the civilian infrastructure, declare victory, and then leave, we will only further erode our standing in the world, the petrodollar, and eventually our status as the world’s reserve currency holder. We need to get out now.

Don’t double down on failure. Avoid the sunken cost trap, leave now, and put America’s interests first.

Although I think in general, we attribute far too much value to someone's final words, it was not lost on me that Charlie's last written words on X were to my post of Iryna Zarutska.

Charlie was k*lled the next morning.

I think about it constantly.

Honestly, it was the driving force behind my reporting on crime and the justice system for the past few months on this platform, especially in North Carolina

I knew things were bad, I had no idea how bad they truly were.

I thought I was radicalized back then... I had no idea how deep the rot actually would be.

The reporting I've done since has shown me things I can't unsee.

These judges sign off on releases that should never happen.

Repeat offenders are cycling through a system designed to look busy while literally doing nothing at all to keep innocent people safe.

Victims do not get justice.

Meanwhile every single person you ask on the street, "Hey, do you think violent criminals are in jail?"

They say, "Oh for sure!"

And they are wrong.

We were lied to and told to trust institutions that stopped deserving it YEARS ago.

Iryna Zarutska was on that train because someone failed her.

Not once. Many, many times.

By many people with many fancy titles and many high-earning salaries and absolutely ZERO accountability.

Charlie saw it.

He knew, long before I ever did.

He had been saying it louder than almost anyone.

That the gap between what institutions claim to do and what they actually is a giant chasm.

The appearance of order and the performance of safety, with nothing but rot underneath.

I thought I was radicalized when Iryna was k*lled... I had NO IDEA how bad things were.

And a LOT of people knew and said nothing because saying it out loud means people call you a racist or call you mean or call you a grifter...

Well, Charlie can't say it anymore.
