@Scyonamine I think socialization is one of the most important parts of YA development and encouraging students to NOT sit in their desk and do worksheets alone is important.

A6: I think "engaging" connects to the lesson in "Alike" because letting students express their creativity instead of telling them exactly what to do and how to do it is way more engaging. Its also "empowering" because its giving them choice in their learning. #tchedbirds #tch296

A3: I think that getting lectured & read a PowerPoint is not effective. Its boring & goes in one ear and out the other. I have found recently that doing hands on activities creates “ah-hah” moments & students are more likely to remember the information you’re teaching #tch296
