@KuoEsser@michellemosier I agree that this idea of having a different lens can be important when reading text such as the Bible but I think we should also have very little expectation when going into reading a text this heavy.
@SophieP79405864@michellemosier yes I totally agree that this is important and we as students and humans need to look at everything with an open mind when learning new things.
@michellemosier#drmtheo111#qotw14 The most important thing I learned this semester is that some of the things we were taught in bible school are just variations of the true story. The story such as Adam and Eve and also Mary and Joseph surprised me with reading them as an adult.
@KuoEsser@michellemosier I think this is also important because it shows that even the smallest thing can have a huge influence on our lives and I also believe it does not take much to believe in heaven.
@EmmaWelchXU25@michellemosier I also found this super interesting that he allowed the banquet to anyone and I also think it resembles the kingdom of heaven.

My favorite parable of the week was the weeds among the wheat because it shows that you have to grow up with bad people around you because you don't know who is good and bad until at the end of someones life when they are judged at the end.
@ChristinaBetas@michellemosier I think this is also important because I also thought this because in church you speak out in public and I was always told to speak the word of God to as many people as possible so that possibly they will want to learn about the lord.
@niahchiversxu@michellemosier I think this is also super important because this shows that the love of God does not depend on how much money you have or what your status in society.
@michellemosier#drmtheo111#qotw12 the most important thing I learned about Jesus was that in Matt.10:34 Jesus talks about how he does not bring peace but a sword and I think this is important because this shows that there will be a divide between families and friends believe or don't believe.
@armstrongplee@michellemosier I agree with you on the idea that she was very independent. She was also very strong in the sense of making a choice to help her people.
@Charlie29wright@michellemosier I agree with you in the sense that either choice she made would alter her and her families lives. also that this would have been a very hard choice to make in this scenario.

I think the timnite women was the most interesting because she wasn't even given a name in this account of her and then she was continually used as a pawn over and over again by the philistines in hopes that she could save her family from being killed.
@Charlie29wright@michellemosier I believe that Deborah is definitely one of the more important ones because like you said she is the only female judge we learned about and she promotes female strength and endurance.
@niahchiversxu@michellemosier I agree that Achsah is a very smart women and she uses her smarts to be able to think ahead and make sure her family will be set up well.
@michellemosier #qotw10#drmtheo111
I think Jael was the most interesting because she used the things she had to her advantage when Sisera enter her tent and asked for her help. I think this is interesting because she was not fearful but strong and overcame the challenges at hand.
@Charlie29wright@michellemosier this is very true because she could have just disappeared and went back to her fathers home when Naomi told her to but instead she stayed by the women's side and then secured a good future in by staying with her.
@Courtthamiltonn@michellemosier I agree that she is also a very interesting women in these stories we heard this week because of her three social spikes. I think that everyone is blessed too in Gods eyes.
@michellemosier#drmtheo111#qotw9
I think the Rachel and Leah were the most interesting because these two sisters had to endure so many things either to give their husband a son or to gain their husbands love. I believe that this is a super important story of women in the Bible.
@Daniell95495660@niahchiversxu@michellemosier I also though that this was super important because I also believed that it was eve that tricked Adam but it was not her but the serpent which adds to this idea of a serpent being tricky or sneaky.
@ChristinaBetas@michellemosier I agree about how this idea of the "rib" gives me new perspective because I never realized that it was half of man which I feel kind of brings in this idea of finding your other half one day.
