@michellemosier the most important thing that we learned this semester was how women were silenced by men. I didn’t know that Adam was standing right next to Eve when given the forbidden fruit. You really have to read in between the lines to understand the full understanding of teachings.

@michellemosier I think the parable with the wheat and the weeds is most important. God allows both good (wheat) and evil(weeds) to live on earth but selects the good to join him in the kingdom of heaven. It teaches us to be wheat on earth and not weeds.

@michellemosier I believe that the Timnite Woman was a very interesting character. she does not have a real name so you would think she is not very important. however she had to make a very difficult choice, to save her family or a stranger. This choice would alter her and her families life.

@michellemosier From the women that we studied this week I believe that Deborah was the most important. She was the only female Judge in the bible. She was a compassionate leaders and many looked up to her.

@michellemosier I believe that the most interesting woman that we learned about it Ruth. I just found her very admirable. I applaud how devoted and loyal she was to Naomi. She could have went back to her social norm however she chose to stay with her mother in law.

@JannaRaeber @michellemosier I never knew that Eve was created from half of a person either. Adam and Eve are two of the same. I always thought Eve was lesser due to only being created out of the rib of Adam.

@michellemosier The most important thing that I learned from Genesis 1-3 is what Adam was with Eve will the serpent was tempting her. Adam could have intervened yet did not. Today will still only blame Eve in the story when i’m reality they were both equally at fault.

@JannaRaeber @michellemosier God is always there in times of need. Even if you do not believe he is present there is always someone watching over you. Habakkuk is a great example of this.

@LesleyW88388221 @michellemosier I also did not realize that Jonah was a “bad guy.” I learned that not all people from the bible are who they are romanticized to be. the only way to figure out the truth is to read the bible yourself.
