If the United States televised is an execution, there’s no going back. There’s no putting that horse back in the barn. Wake the fuck up America -you’re being hoodwinked by a bunch of ignorant racist psychopaths.
Democratic state Rep. James Talarico has been off the trail for 12 days. His campaign says he is suffering from the flu and expected to be back in action this weekend. https://t.co/JWIBrB5CxR
By executing Nidal Malik Hasan in broad daylight for the mass murder of 14 innocent adults, Pete Hegseth is himself setting precedent of how to deal with mass murderers for when he faces accountability for mass murdering 165 innocent Iranian children.
Nidal Hasan is a paraplegic. He’s not going to look like a big scary terrorist. He’s going to look small and helpless as he sits in a wheelchair.
The imagery of this is not going to play well with the public.
Takes like this have gotten us measles, history erasure, a war in Iran, $7.00 diesel, Black women job loss, farm collapse, diarrhea lettuce, ICE murders, and Gaza being WORSE.
Everyone who did this need not complain about where we are now.
@RollingStone@tmorello USAID cuts alone killed more than any Harris administration ever could. I lost my job and had to leave my life behind in FL thanks to this administration… but sure, you def have the moral high ground for not voting for Harris and helping Trump nuke the world. 👍
Gov. @KathyHochul: Last night, I signed an executive order appointing Attorney General Letitia James as special prosecutor in the sexual assault case at Cornell University. After this young woman came forward, she spoke to the police and told them exactly what happened. She could not have been clearer that she was 100% confident that she had been raped. Shockingly, those words never made it into the account that the Cornell police sent to prosecutors. She was failed by people and institutions with an obligation to protect her.
Female murderers will have the most horrific and devastating backstories for them to commit crimes on the same level as a man who was rejected once by a woman
I grieve and weep for all of the survivors of sexual violence who don’t have the fucking energy or capacity to sue. Or who tried and didn’t have enough evidence. May the Cornell 7 burn in the depths of hell.
I’m sure Chris Hanson is a jerk, but I feel like the discourse around this movie wants me to believe that it’s not fair to expose and humiliate and destroy child predators, and I disagree with that premise.
Duncan Trussell recorded this conversation with his mother while she was facing terminal cancer.
What you’re hearing isn’t scripted. It isn’t performed. It’s a son sitting with his dying mother trying to hold onto every word before the words run out.
And she, the one facing the end, is the one doing the comforting.
That is what makes these conversations so extraordinary. Not the wisdom itself, as profound as it is. But who it’s coming from. A woman who had every reason to be consumed by her own fear choosing instead to spend what little time remained helping her son understand how to live without her.
These recordings became the heart of The Midnight Gospel. And I always go back to watch it again.
They remain some of the most honest conversations about death, love and what it means to be human ever put on screen…
