@djlufz@heistvr glad to see it finally release! Be cautious if you dont make the mod more openly available through a website or github or something, someone else will and monetize it.
@VV_VRC some tips. it does still work:
remap ESC and B to keys right next to each other through software or config. Press ESC a few ms before B, i used 1 finger for both. See that the menu stays open after leaving backpack Press Left click at the same time. I didnt need photo mode.
@EisenbahnR find ways to make it look like you do work, without actually doing anything. Who do you overwork yourself for, your employer wont come nurse you back to health if things go south.
@Shodah10 i jump between them, i dont only play vrchat. Honestly I think people are missing out only sticking to one platform, but sometimes I think it may be for the better to not get platforms I enjoy get oversaturated with people.
@FrosteeAlex@BasisVR its a bit more intricate than that. You do have the overhead from heavy components as you described, but the server has well developed reduction systems that culls those in degrees and separately.
The code for that system is here specifically: https://t.co/MCaUc39HZ2
@FrosteeAlex@BasisVR There was a wide variety of custom avatars, it is not a slideshow. This shot worked best to illustrate an instance growing to 1000. see the full overview video in my reply to this tweet for some in game action and its performance impact, it will give you a good idea.
@AztecAngelo@BasisVR That shot put all Users in the range where avatars would be hidden, but you could also show all regardless, doing that put fps down to 20 from 60 at 800 to 1000 ccu. You can see a wide variety of custom avatars in the overview video in my other reply to this tweet.
@ZandyXR@BasisVR From that shot it was still at 50/60 fps, but as you get closer to people it was in the range of 30 fps with 1000 people, 60 fps with 700 people. before the heavy load test during the group picutre it ran at 60+ fps the entire time. btw also see my video in the other reply.
@ASychov@tw_harunadev great spirit, but still not trusting you or anyone with an id, that any employee of such verification services could covertly swipe among other risks.
@MeekaVR@VRChat it is a per instance feature, so i think its fair enough if its also clear before joining the instance. That way people can decide whether or not they want to join on those conditions or not.
