Since the beginning of my campaign, I have always said that our district has done more than its fair share in hosting data centers.

We watched them go from a blessing to a curse. At first, they gave us real property tax benefits and helped fund our schools. Now there is a data center on every corner, and they are creating serious problems for our quality of life.

Suhas Subramanyam has represented this data center district for the past six years. In a recent interview, he claims he saw this crisis coming 10 years ago and personally warned then Congresswoman Barbara Comstock:

"We're not thinking about all the power lines we'll have to build. We're not thinking about how a data center next to a community is going to impact that community. And we certainly aren't thinking about how the data center's power needs will impact people's utility bills."

Yet in six years across three offices, he has done very little to protect families from having data centers in their backyards, and now transmission lines are being planned through their neighborhoods and near their schools.

He also sponsored a bill that the Virginia Mercury said "may have tipped the scales" for the Virginia Clean Economy Act, which has since tightened our energy supply and contributed to higher electric bills.

Georgia high school students stage a fight to bait their principal to break it up, so they could sing him happy birthday.

Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe High School principal Bobby Davis was seen sprinting to the fight to break it up.

After Davis ripped the prank fight apart, the students started singing happy birthday.

"He single-handedly changed me for the better, and he knows I could never take it for granted," said the student who came up with the idea.

Monday is Columbus Day

While the self-appointed morality police in Fairfax County lecture America about canceling Christopher Columbus over slavery, here's a little history lesson.

Fairfax County is named after Lord Fairfax, a wealthy British aristocrat who owned hundreds of salves and loyalist to the British Crown during the American Revolution.

Before you start erasing everyone else's history, you might want to read the history behind your own county's name.

We tore down Lee statutes because of slavery but Fairfax County Board of Supervisors hands out Lord Fairfax awards to citizens as recently as 2023 and still publishes the awards on their page.
