With Qatar declaring Force Majeure on it LNG exports,
Australia's LNG exports now put it in the number 2 slot globally, behind the USA in the number 1 position.

With China and other asian refiners now withholding their refined oil products, Australia, with precious little in refining and storage ( as little as 2-4 weeks reserves of diesel ) is facing an existential threat.

If Asia wants our coal and LNG, a quid pro quo for liquid fuels is our strongest play.

Australia is a major energy producer, for us to be put in this position is such a traitorous and epically incompetent act ... heads should roll!

Don’t these people realize tau and alphasynuclein are microtubule-associated proteins? That they are normally attached to microtubules, and that tau binding signals motor proteins in synaptic plasticity?

They mention microtubule levels are low in Alzheimer’s. Don’t they realize tau and alphasynuclein are free and clumping because they’ve been dislodged from disassembled microtubules?

Don’t they realize the problem in Alzheimer’s isn’t amyloid plaques or toxic tau or alpha synuclein?

I hope you put your emotions aside for a minute and try to really understand this message.

Whenever there’s war, emotions run high, on both sides.

Post Oct 7 and the war in Gaza, the world was split between “Zionists” and “Hamas sympathizers/anti-semites”, and everyone in the middle was thrown into one of these buckets, no middle ground.

Following the capture of Maduro, the 2 buckets were “Pro-western imperialists” and “Pro-Maduro dictator sympathizers”, and again no middle

And now during the protests in Iran, you’re either again pro Zionist (for criticizing the Iranian regime), or a “terrorist” for supporting a brutal regime.

Simplifying politics into 2 buckets is not only ignorant, but dangerous.

Those who are nuanced, that don’t fit in any bucket, are the ones that can usually find a middle ground, which is exactly what we need in today’s increasingly polarized world.

Someone can be critical of the Iranian regime, but also critical of Israel’s aggression in Gaza. They can be critical of Maduro, but also be against the U.S. operation to capture him. They can sympathize with the Palestinian cause, but also be against Hamas. They can support Trump, but criticize some of his policies. (Btw, these are my positions)

This does NOT mean you shouldn’t criticize others, especially those with a large following. But criticize their message, their opinions, and their mistakes. But don’t immediately throw them in a bucket, as this only feeds the divisiveness we’re seeing globally.

Anyway, I expect this message to fall on deaf ears for 90% of those who read it, but I hope it has some impact on that 10% that are not tribalistic fanatics.

And for the fanatics, I know you’re passionate because you feel you’re fighting for the RIGHT cause, and fighting evil. But remember, the other side feels the exact same.
