Elon has the biggest megaphone on earth and he just told 241 million people that follow him that Hitler was a “left-wing socialist.”

That’s not edgy. That’s historically illiterate.

The Nazis hunted down, imprisoned, and murdered actual socialists and communists by the hundreds of thousands.

They banned trade unions, outlawed the Social Democrats and the Communists, and put their leaders in the first concentration camps.

Hitler’s own words called Marxism a Jewish disease he would eradicate.

The socialist in National Socialist was a marketing scam to steal working class votes while the party crushed the left and got into bed with industrialists, the military, and traditional conservatives.

You have more money and reach than almost anyone alive. You could use it to tell the truth. Instead you push a talking point that has been laughed out of serious history for decades. That’s not free speech. That’s using your platform to launder a lie.

@jojjeols Det är väl ett samordningsproblem? EU kan inte enas om viktiga frågor eftersom medlemsländerna prioriterar sina egna intressen före unionens (Spaniens relation med Kina, Grekland i senaste sanktionspaketet mot Ryssland etc). (1/2)

🔸 The US homicide rate is around 5.6 times higher than the EU average.

Even America’s safest major cities have homicide rates several times higher than the European average.

There is a relentless propaganda campaign portraying Europe as a continent collapsing into violence.

The data shows the opposite.

Europe remains one of the safest regions in the world.

Come to think of it, this group got absolutely screwed over by the format.

- Netherlands had to play Morocco (#6 FIFA ranking)
- Japan had to play Brazil (#5 FIFA ranking)

I still don't understand why Norway chose not to fight for first place. I don't see how Ivory Coast is an easier opponent than Sweden, both are difficult games, and honestly I might even argue Ivory Coast is the tougher one.

The only explanation I can think of is that they didn't believe they could beat France's side even with their best XI, so they preferred to save energy instead. I understand the logic, but to me it still feels like a looser mentality.
