Dear Elon musk, people inside Iran urgently need internet access. While the Islamic Republic has cut off the internet for ordinary people for several weeks, it has given special SIM cards to its supporters so only they can access the open internet and spread the regime’s narrative. Please take notice of Ali Javanmardi’s actions at VOA. At a time when many Iranians inside the country have limited or no internet access and depend on VOA for reliable information, he is telling them to ignore calls from Iranians abroad. This message contradicts President Trump’s stance.
For the credibility of VOA, he should be removed.
