@citezw And the dirt roads in his ward 26 are in a terrible state, especially in Glenkara homes. I raised the issue with him and told me that he reported the matter. But till now the roads are still terrible and impossible.
@econet_support I give up on your SmartBiz internet package. No data network from 630pm to 2230pm everyday.
I have been calling 111 and told my inquiry will be escalated to the technical team to solve, but still no change.
Rather migrate to Starlink.

Dear Pachedu
1. This message is superficially correct. Hopewell & many others have repeatedly echoed it - including arguing that the opposition neglected pushing for reforms while they were a part of the GNU.
2. The reality is simply that there will never be reforms in Zimbabwe as long as the current ZANU PF leadership or those who share their thinking are in power.
3. Jonathan Moyo made that clear, so did Chris Mutsvangwa and even the alleged Military Intelligence official who was allegedly conversing with Hopewell in that recently leaked audio.
4. Those currently in power are acutely aware that their rule is much reviled and that opening up the country to reforms and free & fair elections will be their downfall.
5. It's not only electoral systems which are captured. Each & every critical state institution is - to facilitate or pursue power retention at all costs.
6. Institutions are not only captured - new ones are even created to subvert captured ones so as to rid the system of even the remotest possibility of an unfavourable outcome emerging, see for instance FAZ.
7. The key question that emerges from your contribution is the "how" part. How do you propose the issues are addressed "head on"? By who? What does that entail in practical terms in the current environment? What is your role in that process beyond what you are articulating here on X?
8. During that envisaged journey should the process of canvassing for support & rebuilding that @nelsonchamisa is doing following infiltration cease? If so, when & how should it resume?
9. How come it is only Chamisa's responsibility? There are many other opposition leaders including those who are much older than him - your Bitis, Ncubes & others. Does it mean that because they are less popular they should not shoulder that responsibility as well?
10. You will recall that I am amongst those who repeatedly criticised Chamisa for what I considered to be an inadequate response to the sham election, SEOM Final Report & Tshabangu's antics but, in light of the current chaos bedevilling our body politic & the evidence that has since emerged, I have revised my assessment of what was actually possible / feasible during that period.
11. The glass is half full for me. Chamisa brings legitimacy & the popular will of the people. That magnetic power to move millions is one part of the equation. It's because of that - that the regime was forced to conduct a sham election - which left it exposed & riddled with illegitimacy.
12. The next frontier will open up sooner than you think. Watch the space closely. Very soon there will be drum beating centred on a 3rd term agenda for ED. That will open up opportunities for fratricide within the regime while coalescing ED's opponents within & without the regime.
13. It's an illusion that the regime is cohesive & indestructible. It's held together more by fear & opportunities for arbitrage / rent seeking than shared values.
14. We all recently saw Chris Mutsvangwa falling by the wayside, there will be many more along the way. That 3rd term agenda will trigger some of the worst upheavals we will ever see in the history of politics in Zimbabwe.
15. So the opportunities for reform will emerge via a combination of implosion or in-fighting within the regime, mortality as the old guard inevitably falls away, & the passage of time as new values take hold in a changing world.
16. Barring the unexpected, it's unlikely that there will be a revolution in Zim. The regime has got the clock, while the opposition has got time, a sacred & legitimate cause!
@samkebusiness What is the correlation between fastest growing economy and currency stability? The growth of the economy is felt in our pockets, I wonder why!
@ZetdcOfficial@officialzpc What is the reason for more than 12hrs loadshedding a day in Byo. It's been over a week now experiencing loadshedding from 5am to 11pm.
