As you begin your clean-up efforts following the North FL tornadoes, be sure to sort debris into the 6 piles shown below to expedite the removal process.
Remember: never place debris near other trees, structures or downed powerlines - this makes removal difficult. ⬇️
To prepare for any potential storms, brush up on your knowledge of terms officials may use when issuing important weather updates. ⬇️
Continue to monitor local weather alerts & be sure you have your disaster plan in place.

Reduce the possibility of your home suffering major damage before a storm hits. The following tips can help you strengthen your home ahead of a disaster:
🌳 Trim & anchor down trees
🏡 Reinforce the garage door & tracks
🔧 Secure any free-standing fixtures in the yard
Over the next 7-10 days we will likely be watching 3 potential systems. First is the system closest to Africa, it will likely track NW and not harm anyone. 2nd, a central Atlantic wave which could impact the E Caribbean and development in the Gulf early next week (maybe). Whew!
Do you have your disaster prep essentials ready?
🥫Non-perishable food & water for at least 7 days
