Reformed Christians, the time is now.
1)The culture is being discipled by artists, not pastors. Every story, film, and song shapes souls. It’s time Christ’s people take the arts back.
2)There is no neutrality in art. Every brushstroke and lyric glorifies either the Creator or the creature.
3)Pornography, abortion, gender confusion — all are fueled by wicked creativity. The enemy uses beauty twisted against its Maker.
4)The Church’s retreat from the arts left a vacuum that hell was glad to fill. As Calvin Seerveld said, “When Christianity abandons the arts, they really do go to hell.”
5)The solution is not boycott, but building. We need art that drives out lies and reveals truth. Films that heal. Music that worships. Design that blesses.
6)Christ is Lord over the canvas, the camera, the code, and the city. “There is not a square inch,” said Kuyper, “over which He does not cry, ‘Mine!’”
7)Christian artists must train for excellence — skill, theology, and courage. Sentimental mediocrity is not holiness.
8)Make art that tells the truth about creation, manhood, womanhood, marriage, and redemption. Speak beauty into the chaos.
9)The world doesn’t need another critic. It needs creators filled with the Spirit, reclaiming imagination for the Kingdom of Christ.
10)The time is now. Pick up your tools, Church. Make with excellence. Drive out darkness. Build culture that glorifies the King.
“Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” — 1 Cor. 10:31
The Serrated Edge of the Reformation
Christian institutions must reject the lure of mediocrity in cultivating leaders who will shape culture. Their ambition should be nothing less than world-conquering—an exercise of dominion over every sphere of life for the glory of Christ the King. Adherents who are subject to Christian tutelage must emerge as cultural saboteurs to the godless and living nightmares to purveyors of evil.
Such institutions should anticipate disciples who will draw the right kind of trouble—men and women willing to endure suffering and press through pain to win. These will shape political policy, establish fruitful economies, and establish culture-shaping institutions. It is not enough for leaders to wear the polished respectability that a longstanding tradition often affords; more is demanded. They must possess a grit, firmness, and competence that transcends academic brilliance, equipping them to engage directly and decisively in cultural warfare.
Virginia currently has 6 Democratic and 5 Republican congressmen, so this would add 4 Democratic seats to the House of Representatives if it passes.
Just a reminder that elections matter.

Apple Music’s parental controls are severely lacking. My brother @JeremiahDaws decided to fix that. He created Safe Tunes to give parents more control over what their kids listen to on Apple Music. Check it out! It’s so helpful. Link below.
