It doesn't say when to perform hajj even. it only says during "the well known months" showing that you need hadith to understand the Quran.

The quran has multiple modes of recitation (Qira'at), I said some modes of recitation are inauthentic as they do not go back to the prophet S.A.W., and others are, But that doesn't mean that all modes of recitation/the Quran are inauthentic.
